Every day there will be a new topic in this forum for today's fasters to chat & support each other.

Not happy :cry: I went all day fasting today, then made dinner for the family Roast Duck (first time) with Cherry Sauce and Potatoes, beetroot well it was beautiful but I didn't realise how many calories in duck...500 just in the meat well I went way over. Lesson learnt I must plan meals better and go back to basics on fast days.

Also had another headache today, 3rd time whilst fasting, and for someone that doesn't get headaches I'm not sure why? I will keep an eye on how much water I drink as I know it's no where near what I drink in summer.

Headaches might be a withdrawal from something? I am expecting one as I cant have coke a cola today so will probably get one come this evening.... Could also be dehydration too so try drink lots especially in this heat. xx
I'm in today. I've switched from a Tuesday to a Monday, and then Thurs as normal so there's a more even spread of normal eating days in between. My weight this morning after 3 normal days had gone up to almost what it was 2 weeks ago when I started 5:2 - I'm hoping it's just a blip as I certainly haven't been overeating on normal days (and calorie count anyway to make sure)...fingers crossed for a loss this week!!

Monday fasting for me as usual. I was up early making breakfasts for my B&B guests. On fast days I always wonder 'How can they eat all that?' But of course a full English is a great treat when you stay away. Am I tempted? Not in the slightest!
I'm in today. Been grazing all weekend after a smallish Chinese meal on Friday. Have been hungry all morning and I didn't bring my usual for lunch, as thought I would try and go till dinner with just liquids.

I'm in today (nearly done) & tomorrow. Doing back to back fasts this week as they're the only days I don't have something on. My first consecutive day fast - and I have to admit I am really not looking forward to it (but will feel very virtuous when I go to bed tomorrow night!!!! Weigh in tomorrow.......
My OH and I are fasting today. I find I get a lot more accomplished on my fast days to stay busy. Beautiful here in Colorado and I have been walking 3 miles most every day. Lets do this everybody :)

Nearly bedtime Monday for me after my first day of fasting. Lots of preparation meant it all went smoothly! I didn't get nearly as grumpy as I expected to, though I may have been a bit more scatterbrained than usual.

Good luck to those with Monday ahead of them!
Fasting today too, helped by the hot weather which seems to have taken my appetite

Off to work now which always helps too, no time to eat : )

Oh dear I posted earlier that I was fasting today but since then I've been making my son's birthday cake for later on. After automatically licking the bowl I realised that my fast is just not going to happen today so switching to tomorrow now. First time I've switched mid fast and I'm not sure what possessed me to think I'd cope anyway! Oh, apologies for mentioning cake on the fast thread as well ;)
Count me in, usual Monday fast.

The same thing happened to me last week, i was just getting down to a point that any further and i would weigh the least i have weighed in years, when to my horror i stepped on the scales last Thursday after my 2 day fast only to find all my weigh had come back. I have not been on the scales since, i am dreading this thursdays weigh in :cry:

I am in to, Monday is my fav fast day I do Wednesdays as well. I only have 1lb to loose to get to my goal although may move it down another 3lb as my tummy is not as flat at this weight as I hoped it would be. I have been playing around with 16/8and quite like it so thought when I loose this last 1lb I may change to Mondays fast and then 4 days on 16/8, weekends still on 2000cals and see if that will maintain or if I will carry on loosing.
