Its been my first proper fast day today, and I've managed to do it, so I'm feeling pleased now. I had one meal at 6pm of tuscan soup, a crumpet, and a sugar free jelly, and I feel very full now! I think that I did find it easier to fast throughout the day, rather than having little meals like I did last week when I had a trial run, so will probably try one meal again next time.

Looking forward to pancake day tomorrow and another fast day on Wednesday. :)

I Am trying to stick with the 24 hour fast and no carbs on fast days, that's 500 cals tops in 36 hours too. Surely has got to be good? Trouble is my body has decided to hang on to every morsel that comes it's way in case no more does, giving me constipation, sorry if that's too much info! Anyone got any ideas to cure this please?

eat plenty of good fats on non fast days.it works for me.Coconut oil, butter. Cod liver oil and drink plenty.
Funnily enough I havnt had this problem since starting fasting but I did on strict low carb.

Hi Moogie, I spent some time on this web site and have picked up one or two ideas. The more you read the more you learn.

Third day fasting is over! Had a big bowl of veg soup and an apple for dinner.
Marigold organic bouillon (10 cal per serving) got me through the morning. Love it!
Played badminton and jogged for 30 min.

Pancake day tomorrow! :)
Cuddly - I don't go on Ravelry as often as I would like. My name there is Tillywinkle :-)
