2 stone?! That's incredibly impressive! Well done you

Well I'm all on my lonesome now after what was a fabulous time with my sister. We can't believe we met Harrison Ford. It seems so surreal.

Now I'm on my own and determined to shift the baggage. I keep thinking of Caroline and how inspiring her story is. Think I'm going to knock breakfasts on the head and do 16:8 like her.

How are you guys doing? What sort of fasting are you doing at the mo?

:?:

I'm doing 4:3 with as short a window as poss each day (ie if I can go without lunch and maybe just have an oxo instead I do). My food for today (well, Tues) looks a bit odd as I had a tin of macaroni cheese and salad for lunch, no dinner but 5 cookies this eve and a small bar of chocolate - eek! BUT it came in at 1,223 cals so whilst not nutritionally sound, shouldn't have an adverse effect. Will be fasting today, Weds.

Good luck with the fast @Madcatlady Tinned macaroni cheese?! What the bananas is that like?!!

I'm with you Candy. I haven't had any breakfast. Not sure what I'm going to have for lunch (but I'm thinking something egg related) and then rice tonight. Tomorrow I shall do a proper fast and hopefully revert to ADF. I'm not going to weigh myself until 1 October when we start our Christmas challenge. What d'you think? I haven't got a goal yet...have you?

I think my sister was slightly horrified by my size. She's just tiny. One day I WILL shift the weight AND (more importantly) keep it OFF!

Hope you're having a good day

Bean

ps My stomach is really rumbling today. Its quite enjoyable really!

Yes 16:8 for me too Beano today..
I think ive been too ambitious with my xmas goal of a lb a week..going to change that,i have to be realistic, this year has NOT been a good one when it comes to the old weight shedding.
You did so well on ADF,beany, its worth you giving it another bash x :like: :clover:

You bean daft again Candy Cane?!!

Well girls I think I'm well and truly back in the zone. Yesterday I did the Caro 16:8. I guess I had lunch at around 1 and looked up how to poach eggs PROPERLY. It still didn't work but I think I'll give it another go tomorrow. The other way is to get a ramekin, put some cling film over it, add some oil and herbs if you want, then crack the egg over it and then boil the water, take it off the heat so the bubble subside and then plunge in the egg ball which you would have made by wrapping the egg in the cling film and tying a knot in it. Then, apparently, you'll have a perfectly poached egg, like a golf ball! How sad that I'm looking forward to that.

So neither of you are fasting today then? Its my first fast in a while but I'm aiming to continue with ADF. I think it works for me but I've never tried it before whilst following the 16:8 rules on the other days. So, who knows, I might have better results. And I'm hoping that soon I'll be able to start up my yoga again because I've bean so good lately.

Can't wait to start munching now though

I'm fasting today (and hungry!) - looking forward to my feta salad when I get back from Body Pump.

Thanks for the tip about poaching eggs - I love them but never seem to be successful when I do them in the pan so may try the cling film way - I suppose it's similar idea to those pans where you have the little cup to put the egg in (could just invest in one of those I suppose!)

Hope you enjoyed your Body Pump @Madcatlady. Blimey it's bean years since I did that!

I bought a diet ginger beer today...it's horrible! Therefore I think I'll just have to stick with normal ginger beer and get a sugar rush!

The only trouble with those egg poachers is you don't end up with an egg "ball" which is what I am currently searching for

Good luck with the poaching practices Beany!
Ive had bacon on toast, two ( yes two) mince pies ( why not?? Its only14weeks til crimbo! :like: .) and having spag bol for tea..so a veritable carb fest of a day
Its disgraceful coz thurs is fasting day or at least a 16:8...Will do better tomorrow

Well that fast went VERY well (despite the hideous ginger beer. I know its awful but I'm going to have to throw them away. The diet ones that is!)

Are you ok Oatsey? Haven't heard from you for a while. Hope work is going ok. And more importantly, how's the fasting going?

I see you're up and about Candy. How are you doing today?
