Done it Carie! X :like: :clover:
Fab cake.. I Nearly forgot our friday show and tell..
I' m no cook ..i belong to the FOP school..freezer,oven,plate
But against my better judgement i followed this recipe...
Slow cooker sweet potato risotto...even a non cook like me is doubtful a risotto will turn out well in a slow cooker
Well it looked ok,it tasted ok (ish)but it was VERY stodgy! X
Basically throw 250g risotto rice in slow cooker with sweet potatoes,onions,garlic..on high for 2 hours then add frozen peas and green beans for another half hour
Or on the other hand, make it on top of the stove for a better result  x

Thank you so much Candy. I've had comments about why strangers are calling me Carie, hubs a bit jealous I believe. As its his pet nam for me
Anyhow, o really appreciate your donation, and will be thinking of you and everything I know about you on the day. Pictures will follow I expect as BIL a ad daughter going to watch.
Now your risotto looks nice, better to make your own than buy a ready made in my opinion, you know exactly what's in it, so what was the cal content! Can you put meat in with it?

Hi Caro ( call you Caro so not to vex Hubs!) coz its a slimming World recipe its all FREE foods..foods you can eat freely - tho of course you can't if you want to lose weight - as with 5:2 you still have to exercise caution with the carbs and watch portion size! X
Ps yeh am sure wd be ok to put meat in tho might need cooking longer..i think if there was a next time i might put meat in and leave the rice out!

Isn't is annoying when you write a message and then your computer goes to pieces...doh!
Anyway, just wanted to wish you luck for next Sunday Caro (sounds like a choccy bar to me!!). Yep, while you're running through mud and jumping over ditches I shall be sunning myself on an Island Image
My sister will be arriving tomorrow morning. Can't wait to see her and the boys!

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to @nursebean, @CandiceMarie and @Merlin for sponsoring me. It's a blessing to know such lovely people.
Bean, how great that your sis is here already, and candy, it's not a risotto without the rice is it? Maybe you've invented a new dish.

Sadly, Seb has bean sick and still feels poorly. Hopefully he'll be better tomorrow. Hope so because we're off to the Isle of Wight on Saturday!

Hi candy, I've been a bit busy and my knee is being dealt with by a very very nice young man, man handling my wobbly bits he was.
I'm off to see kylie tonight at the races I'm excited about the singing she's excited about the races, it's not going to be glam clothes weather unfortunately but I love watching those who can stand being cold.
And then on Sunday I'm getting down and dirty with thousands of other lovely ladies. Bring it on.
