Hi candy, been a wee bit busy, away at the weekend, went on a training course yesterday. Back to normal today though I didn't do my regular Monday fast yesterday. Feels really weird not to doesn't it.
Meeting with the lovelies next Saturday, I'm excited. Better mind my P's and Q's

@CandiceMarie,
Look at what my local independent bookshop has in stock, saw this and obviously thought of you,
I've missed our bean, and I've got to admit that I've been so busy that I've often forgot to join the fasting today thread too. I seem to be maintaining well but not losing, how's SW going?
Once the holidays start I will be onnnit, like a car bonnet. Plus I've now registered for a 10 km race to help get myself to half marathon frame of mind. I'm doing it with my friend who's son committed suicide near Xmas, think I mentioned her before.
Anyhow, got afternoon tea to look forward to next Saturday and there will be pictures loads of pictures.
I wonder if @nursebean will be able to make it with her sister to help her get there.

I want Moomin Maraccas!
It' ll be good to see dear Old Bean won't it Caro
I hope she can get to the meetup
It would be a real beano with Beano present!
Bit disappointed the last SW weigh in..put half a pound on..i have that righteous indignation we get when weve genuinely bean good but the scales arent friendly
I even checked my SW food diary and converted the weeks food to calories...
Worked out at 1317 cals per day..below my TDEE so i shd have lost,or at least stayed same
Blummin scales, i hate them! X

Did they explain the reasons why you gained this week?
Did you feel hopelessly dissapointed?

I only got weighed Caro, didnt stay for group coz was going out for dinner ( only had lamb with a salad instead of new potatoes , no wine, just water,no dessert, not even a taste!)
I know what fickle friends the scales can be,so i tried to be philosophical, tho it was a bit of a slap in the face to gain ! Staying the same would have been bad enough!
Just part of life's rich tapestry ..some weeks we win, some we lose!
And 28 days into SW i can get back into two pairs of troosers that didnt fit,so that makes me feel happier! X

Oh my little buddies, I'm back!! So sorry to have bean gone for so long. I went and booked a holiday cottage that didn't have any Wi-Fi...doh!! To start with I thought it would be a good thing, but actually its horrible!

The Isle of Wight was ab-so-lute-ly BEAUTIFUL!! Oh boy, the sea was so blue, the sun was shining, people were friendly, the scenery was gorgeous, my sister's cooking was delish (she's a great cook my sis) my nephews were tiring...but fun! My ME Monster was pretty much smothered by my enjoyment. It felt so good to be able to spend time with my nephews and actually have fun and, most importantly, energy! We visited Black Gang Chine (which has changed quite a bit since I last visited some ahem years ago!)

One of the highlights for me was visiting Monkey Haven near Newport. Here they have monkeys and owls and meerkats all of which have bean removed from terrible treatment and given a loving new home. The stars of the show were two Lar Gibbons who were just SO funny (if you follow me on FB you'll see my little clip)

Don't tell anyone, but we are actually thinking of moving to the Isle of Wight because it is just a perfect idyll. (Just keep it to yourselves  )

So? What's bean going on while I was away? Well done on your run Oatesy. You did really well. I bet it was fun wasn't it. And don't worry about your gain last week Candy. I'm sure this week you'll lose that...and the rest! Its tomorrow night isn't it?

Ahhh its good to be able to chat again, although I wish I was chatting whilst sitting looking out to sea

Hey Miss Gibbon, great video clip, I love monkeys, all shapes and sizes. So moving to IOW are we now, have you got a spare room by any chance.
So glad you've had a smashing hols with your sister and lovely nephews, yes children are exhausting but on a great way.
Any chance you'll be able to make it to London on Sayurday Would love to meet you.

Good morning buddies, including one buddy who is now 4 and a half pounds lighter...woohoo!
It's funny you calling me Miss Gibbons because I was literally engaged to Mr Gibbons...years ago. The name would've bean great...but not the position!!
So, yes, we are now thinking of moving to the Isle of Wight (it's nearer than Padstow and there's plenty more to do). By the time we get out there I hope to be able to get a part-time job (maybe at Minkey Haven?!) and maybe even start sailing or something. You never know, Imight meet someone special.
As you can see, the holiday has done wonders for my spirit!
I'm afraid I won't be able to meetup. It's annoying because although I feel a lot better I'm still experiencing really bad moments and my sister is away that day. One day I will meet you I hope, hey maybe you could meet me on the Island ;) but until then I look forward to seeing the photos of your wonderful time together.
Blimey, don't I go on! How are you both today! Feels like it's going to be a hot one again doesn't it.
Bean xx

In my case it would be Funko Gibbon!! Oh I remember that song, in fact I have it on vinyl!! I used to love the Goodies, especially Bill Oddie (I had a thing about men with beards when I was a little 'strange' girl!!) Blimey, they're all a bit different now aren't they...as are we I guess
Thanks for that Candy, that was hilarious xx

Hey hello there, great news on the weigh in. Have you dropped your carbs this week?
I'm out for dinner with work tomorrow and then the small matter of sandwiches, scones and cake on Saturday.
Shame you can't come and yes I will come visit you in OIW.
