Lovely Jan. thanks for posting that, you look great. I must have a look at those cardis.

I am running out of summer clothes and been so busy recently that not much washing has been done so I wore a dress that I bought about 6 years ago at a clothes party (you know how it is at those events, you have to buy something) and always hated. There was nothing nice about it. It was too tight. Neither the shape nor the colour did anything for me. The neckline and shoulders made me look huge. You get the picture? Anyway, I wore it out of desperation and got loads of compliments. So, what do I know?!! I have a new dress in my wardrobe now. Yaaayyyy.

I went somewhere posh yesterday and there were stalls selling clothes. They were just the sort of thing I have been looking for for years and I bought a lovely 3 piece top combo which makes me look like a yummy mummy! They are not branded though so I don't know where else I could buy these sort of things. I'm not very good at dressing but I know what I like when I see it so I think I will wear this top until it falls off me

Hi, @Wendy Darling, could we see a photo of your new acquisition, please, and your newly rediscovered , 'old' dress? A selfie would be fine. I love it when you buy something and it just 'feels right'. It's a great feeling!

I've now dropped to three and a half pounds under target and I was sorting out trousers for next weeks holiday and two pairs are far too big. They will have to be replaced urgently!

Wow, Jan - you look fabulous, thanks for posting. I took the dress I bought for the wedding back, so the search continues......... WendyDarling - That's a shame the clothes you found are not branded. Could you trace the stall holder via the event organiser? If I see something that I REALLY love I occasionally buy two - in fact I plan to go back to Greenwich to buy another silk skirt which is one of those items to wear till it drops.

:curse: :curse: :curse: Nooooooo. Bought some pretty orange suede pumps yesterday from M&S, just breaking them in round the house, dropped my sons chicken nuggets on them, and now they've got fat splashes all over, which the suede brush wont remove :curse: :curse: :curse:
