I slept much better last night at home after two nights away in a hotel, but still woke up at 6am. I definitely sleep less now I'm older.

So glad it's the weekend. Like AnnieD I'm having my hair cut later and more importantly coloured. I started going grey in my twenties and am now fully grey with some white. I have been colouring it back to my natural brown for many years.

I also have to take down the Christmas decorations today. I didn't have time last weekend or this week as I've been away.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.

Last night was rough, I had actually bought some magnesium and forgot to take it. Doh!

Busy today, but hopefully an early night tonight, with the magnesium to help me sleep.

Looks like magnesium did the trick! I woke at 3 again this morning and nearly came here but stuck with it and finally drifted off about 5 and managed another couple of hours :sleepy: :sleepy:

I started taking Mag two nights ago. Been sleeping ok and am tentatively thinking it has helped with my pain and stiffness levels when I wake up. Might be unrelated, we will see but I had no pain or aching body this morning x

Really pleased if you guys have managed to find a solution to your sleep problems, sounds like Magnesium might actually help. I usually sleep well but think there must have been a sudden sharp drop in temperature in the middle of last night as I woke up freezing and had to put my dressing gown on over my pjs in bed. I bought a duck down filled duvet a few months ago but hubby still doesn't want me to put it on the bed as he doesn't seem to feel the cold!

last night was a fasting night so it was probably not the best night to start on the magnesium because it didn't seem to help. What I am finding at the moment that does help is actually getting to bed before midnight, not like last night at past 2am. I had 3 hours sleep, then was dozing on and off for another hour, by 6am I was wide awake. I had the maintenance done on the stairlift by 8am and was doing the car maintenance by 9am. I have also mixed paint colours for my daughter, checked out the forums, ebay and facebook, chatted to hubby, brought in the washing and am now procrastinating about starting my 'Learn Bulgarian' course again. These fasting but wide awake are pretty good for getting things done, but I am beginning to suspect that the stress from continuous lack of sleep is affecting my weight loss. I will keep up with the magnesium until the bottle runs out and see if it makes a good enough difference to buy some more.
