Hi debs!

Flip, hubby's alarm has just gone off, so I have officially been up all night. I pity my kids today with a cranky tired mum and nothing but rain anf floods and storms forcast.

I'm keeking in! Very quiet so hopefully the sleep fairy is working for everyone. It's mid morning in the sandpit. Been awake for quite a while and then the builders started at about 730am- not on. A wee trip to security to ask them to stop until a reasonable time.
But it meant that I got out in the RAIN! And it's been showery and lovely and fresh- even if we're feeling it a wee bit chilly. Freshness! oh, joy.
How are you?

It has been very quiet in here recently, the insomnia fairy hasn't had to sprinkle much sleepy dust!
Poor scubachick, I am guessing you are in the UK as I don't think there is too much rain unless you are in Darwin or the Kimberely!!

Rain, in the sandpit???? Amazing!! It is lovely isn't it when you don't get it very often, you appreciate it a lot more!!! A cyclone is predicted to be heading our way in the next couple of days, but luckily I fly out of here tomorrow so I shall miss it!

I'm really enjoying the rain here. Not stopped in 48 hours. Much needed. Just supping some warmed almond milk with a pinch of cinnamon. Hope it helps me get to sleep tonight.

What time is it with you Debs?
I'm trying to work out where in time zones everyone is in relation to the sandpit nad getting hopelessly lost.
I think Karen is 12 hours behind me...

Yep it's a bit odd. Maybe @janeg we could have a thingy next to our names that shows local time. That would be cool

I think Moogie may be looking into the time zone thing, as it was raised recently on another thread. Am used to Calif time, sort of, as my sister used to live in Mexico City which was 6 hr behind us - but it's difficult getting used to thinking of multiple times! I usually think of the Aussies as being 10 hrs ahead (but that might be wrong for you @Debs?)
