Nope, I'm here as well! Couldn't sleep - happens every now and again - so I've come down for a cup of cocoa.

There's a half-gone packet of ginger biscuits - opened before Christmas - calling my name. Well. I'm on maintenance, so why not put some of it out of its misery? :)

Loving it but the time is too short. I am also very conscious that it may be one of the last times I am here if we do manage to sell it, so feeling a bit sad too, especially as our beautiful boys are buried here too and we will be leaving them behind. Silly I know as they are always with us but can't help it. That's why I prefer ashes to scatter as it is more transient and you just have the memories. There, that was mawkish but anyway.......

You haven't got long to go really, so that is great, and if you are so busy, time flies!!
You sort those bickies out breadandwine, don't take any nonsense from them!!!

@rawkaren -hey, let us know dates for your trip back as soon as you have them - and maybe we can arrange a meet up with @Ballerina and the scottish and northern contingent in Edinburgh or thereabouts ...

@Ballerina - do you have dates for your scottish sojourn?

Been great but probably cooler. I posted some snaps on the photographers thread and still to update my blog..... It was good to visit a district (Mission) before the downtown. Somehow it felt more real. Walked my feet off. Must check my steps. How are you?

Oh, I'm fine, kind of enjoying a lazy Sunday evening - too much Olympics on TV - but am looking forward to Downton Abbey tonight at 9. Will have to look for your photos on the other thread.

Sorry to hear about your hairdresser experience - I know you will get it right and find just the perfect person eventually!!

Best wishes . .

There is a warm wind blowing tonight so I have left open the sides of the tent so the warm breeze can waft through and we can see the stars in their billions shining overhead. In the distance a Barking Owl is calling for its mate and the eerie wailing of the curlews makes your hairs stand up on end as they fly over.
Inside I have chilli ginger beer for those who want a non alcoholic beverage and a light 5% moscato for those wanting a breakfast tipple.....
