Inside I have chilli ginger beer for those who want a non alcoholic beverage and a light 5% moscato for those wanting a breakfast tipple.....

That sounds tempting @Debs. I think we should all be round yours tonight. I'm watching the BAFTA's on my new TV whilst trying to write bonus plans (and getting diverted onto this forum which is far more interesting!)

Ain't that the way?!! I should have been reading the Luminaries but keep getting dirtacted. What are bonus plans? I'll pour you a glass of fizz while you do it!

I would sooner be drinking fizz and being in the outdoors with you.

Basically they are incentive plans for execs to achieve certain goals in the company. I'm trying to design something new and figuring out targets and performance measures. People get carried away with different curves, accelerators, modifiers blah blah blah. So I'm cutting through all of that and trying to keep it very basic. It's my specialty because I'm very simple. There are lots of rules these days to follow if you read the papers, it's a hot topic right now and you have to be very careful you drive the right behaviours

And I only read the first 10 pages of The Luminaries!

Hey@rawkaren - can you design some bonus plans for reading the Luminaries?? (Just joking  ). Interesting concept though, gets you thinking ...

@Debs - what sort of bonus plans would keep your colleagues on track

I tend to find home made brownies do the trick. I once bribed my colleagues to get them to a budget meeting with home made cake and brownies, and they all came!!!

Although here I think the blokes would rather be paid in slabs of beer and a stripper

Hey @candicemarie. Sorry I was not on patrol tonight for you either. Must be all the family excitement you are having right now. Must admit, could do with brownies and vino myself right now. Just ending a fast day so off to bed.

Just popping my head in before I go to bed too. Youngest son is still awake as I can hear him creaking away upstairs, hubby is just waiting for the painkillers to kick in and I will be off.

My overnight bag is half packed for the weekend and tomorrow I'm off to get some false nails put on (I am a terrible nail chewer), some hair colour, I'm thinking a vibrant lilac or darker purple and hopefully find a bigger handbag. I need one of those cross body bags so I can keep my hands free to help hubby when he needs it. I used to always have backpacks and I have some really nice ones, but since I injured my neck I can't get them on and off easily. So a bigger cross body one is needed. That is if I can find one that is decently secure as many of the bags out now just seem to have a magnetic clasp. Of no use at all when you have to carry around as many prescription drugs as I do. I would hate to think of something falling out and a kid getting hands on them.

I also have a tongue ulcer and can't stop rubbing it against my teeth.
