Not skulking...
12 Nov 2013, 13:14
Not skulking! Too busy cooking and, recently, making bread rolls (happy FatDog has genuinely edible low-carb bread rolls at last - see yesterday's log) and dancing round the living room celebrating the V&P vary-fairy's magic on the scales this morning. I'm at the top of eight stone zilch (112.8lbs) on the digital scales today : reeling about it (in all senses)!

Sorry you're stalled @rawkaren - had a few weeks stuck myself and it is *so* frustrating and miserable making - especially when one is doing everything 'right'. I'm not sure what shifts things - but being more rigorous about keeping the carbs low would 'appear' to help... It'll move xxx FatDog

Well not much of a xmas party going on in here! I think we all shifted to the official xmas tent, so maybe this is just now a table in the big tent!

So I had my annual medical today (physical). When I get the full set of data I will post a report, but overall, everything going in the right direction (going down). Including my height. So I have officially shrunk.  I'm now 5ft 2.5 inches or 158cm. And I always thought I was slightly taller than 5.3!

Glad all heading the right way after all the hard work youve put in

I too used to be a stately five three and a bit.....am now a midgety five foot two and a bit ...
With my BMI and waist size,i should be eight foot five by rights ;0) X

Is there room in this tent for me? I am Jill from Australia. I am 155cm tall and about the same in width  :curse: In fact, it is probably faster to jump over me than go round! You all are so trim taut and terrific reading from your signatures while I have HEAPS to lose. I am only in Week one on this plan so far and motivated. Ive lost the weight and regained it more times than I can count. Hoping I can lose it and keep it off THIS time!!

Morning, oh short ones, how are we all??!!
I'm in sunny Perth for a few days prior to starting work and trying to keep myself busy. May have to be house cleaning as it doesn't look as though it's been done for a while! Always hard trying to entertain yourself in someone else's house, may have to see if anyone else on the forum is in Perth.

I have also gone from 5ft 31/4 to 5ft 21/2 not happy that means I have to wear higher heels  The old adage age doesn't come alone springs to mind.

I quickly browsed through and this is depressing, I think I'm the shortest here at 5ft 1/2 (154 cm) :-( :?:

My gripe is that my BMI still has me as overweight. I'm the lightest weight I've been since i was 20 .. so may be "heavy" at 131 pounds, but I carry my weight on my hips, so my chest is nonexistent and my face is rather gaunt that I feel it looks like a crumpled up paper bag :-)

Oh well, Im glad to be in your tent

Well, I haven't been here in awhile - hi, everyone! It's not a fast day for me, but as it's snowing and 5°F and I get to stay in, I think I'll have a semi-fast. Turkey soup for dinner!

@jeninboston, you are very welcome here, but can't claim the title of Shortest Camper! @Callyanna and @fatdog are both shorter than you, and I'm the winner at 4'10"! So don't be depressed  Furthermore, as I've already mentioned, I have short pride and so should you. For starters, we curl up nicely on bus and plane seats.

Wendyjane - so true!! I like that I can sleep on planes whilst everyone complains their knees knocking the seat in front ... and now my hips fit comfortably into the seat, well, there's no holding me back :like: :like:

It looks like your BMI entered the healthy range just today, @jeninboston.

Congrats! Here's a bouquet for you. :rose: :rose: :rose:

Good morning short people, it is Fast Day #3 for me today. I didn't have a good night's sleep and got up at 5.30am because I knew I would not go back to sleep and all the anxieties crowd in if I just lie there awake, so it will be a loooong day for me today. AND it is weigh in day as well. It is a nice rainy day here in inland NSW. Hubby has gone hopefully out to the golf course to see if there are any other silly old fossils wanting to have a game today  . I expect he will be back again momentarily
Have a good day everyone.
