Mostly we are a big crowd of virtual friends who have a surprising amount in common, and then sometimes (usually wrt popular culture) all some of us can say is "Huh?".

Oops sorry @wendyjane. All I can say is that you are not missing very much. (It's Dancing with the Stars, called Strictly Come Dancing here ). Hope all is well in Colorado. We are expecting storms here so certainly a night for the TV.

I'd offer to enlighten you on Dave Myers, but OH has refused to watch Strictly

Now that I think about it, I don't watch much TV at all, so even miss lots of references here in the US to Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, Breaking Bad, etc. Haven't seen any of them.

@SianS, it's the jeans that are getting longer, or rather reaching further toward the ground, as you lose weight. Congratulations.

All the tv references are lost on me too, I keep being told you must watch this and that but never get around to it. I'm sure I'll live!!

I don't watch Strictly either but OMG, that clip is so funny! nearly spilt my coffee over my laptop at Dave Myer's antics! What on earth does he look like pulling those faces and strutting like a demented peacock? Stick to the biking and cooking Dave!

In a way I wish he'd stay in, as he is highly amusing (and Darcey does seem to like him, which is like the Beauty and the Beast ) but I think he'll be for the chop tonight

Hiya all titchy tenters on this great Halloween night
Have brought the marshmallows for toasting on our campfire and some potatoes and chestnuts to bake on it
Wrap up warm,small people,and lets gather round the fire to sing songs and tell ghost stories and drink hot chocco from our billycans! XX
