Well that was odd, just saw 'my' tree avatar used on Moogie's awards thread by someone else! Thought I'd made a comment without knowing then realised the name was different :0/ silly me :0O
Coughing like a 40 a day old lag this morning, I can only get better (or expire) so onward and upward :0)

Hi from across the ditch pamie. I am quite new here and feeling my way. Good on you for finding your way back again. It must be very hard to keep on track when you work with food all the time!!

Fast day yesterday and the scales are looking very encouraging this morning. I am motivated. Keep up the good work everyone. Don't you feel more positive and in control when you are back on the programme? I certainly feel heaps better within myself. I guess its the sense of acheivement. Anyway, enough of me rabbiting on. Have a great day people.

trousers falling down incident yesterday..
Not quite as dramatic as the one @Julieathome had..
Stepped out of car to go in chemists, when whooosh went my pants with my knicks quickly following suit
Managed to stop them before they got below hem of jacket level and give them a surreptitious (great word! Not sure ive spelt it right..think ive just used it for the first time in my life :victory: )
Anyway yanked them up
Deffo not wearing those cecks again
Not long ago they looked daft coz they were practically at half mast coz my leg width was taking up the length, now they in folds round my ankles like a mad aunty x

Terrific pamie!! The feeling of being in control is very empowering isn't it? It certainly works for me, and I am not finding the fasts difficult at this early stage (or only if I allow myself to eat before dinner time). I'm not losing much but I certainly feel more in control and that's a good thing:) Keep up the good work.

...and CandiceMarie, I think it should have been a clothing store you were going to rather than the chemist   Very funny story and I cannot wait for that to happen to me

This made me laugh @Azureblue

Reminded me a bit of what happened here the other night...
Was in bed when my buzzer went..answered and a voice said " ambulance for you, love!"

I actually looked myself up and down thinking,oh ive ordered an ambulance! Something must be wrong with me! ..then reality kicked in and i said, youve rung the wrong bell!
What a very silly rather than sassy senior moment that was!

Visited a lovely Saxon church today with this fab nativity window. Merry Christmas :0)

Grrr, typed a long answer, which then disappeared.
Where is this @Azureblue? I used to be very into architecture and visited many an old church with my ex.
It was then that I saw my one and only ghost; a frail old man praying in a pew in a church in Northumberland or north Durham. He was there then in a blink of an eye, he wasn't. Wasn't a scary encounter; rather peaceful. He had a fine white ruff round his neck. Wish I could remember where it was.

This wonderful window is in the chancel of St Andrews Church, Brigstock, Northants.
I'm seriously thinking of doing more about stained glass in 2014 as it's such a great medium - colour and light in a fragile material.

Merry Christmas Sassies, I wish you all the best of the season. May you spend it in peace and joy, surrounded by those you love. It is 4pm Christmas Eve here in Australia, Santa is surely on his way

Merry Christmas Day dear sassys, just went wild and ate a fried egg sandwich followed by some frangipane, all GF.
Weight today lurched up to 71.3kgs, probably because of the unwise wheat bread rolls eaten yesterday plus other festive bits. It twill go in time hopefully ...
OH just popped out to see a bridge being demolished, I declined this excitement, boring ain't I.
Tomorrow we have 12 coming so today's quiet is welcome :0)

Have had our xmas lunch, smoked salmon starter with salad + no bread, turkey dinner with my first roasted potatoes since May this year and believe me or not I just thought they're OK.
followed by the traditional xmas pudd.
doing a small buffet at about 7 pm but I probably won't bother coz I've had enough for today.
16:8 tomorrow then a willing fast on Friday  Sue
