Hi ladies. Happy New Year! We spent yesterday with hubby's siblings at a town an hour from here....too much food, lots of talk, not much listening but fun. At least I don't have to worry about alcohol consumption as I don't drink any. Today I am fasting and am motivated to really embrace this way of eating from now on!

The very first New Years Eve party since hubby and I got married. Being the black sheep of my family didn't help with invites. But this party was with our daughter and her partner and his parents, so a clean slate. We had fun, it was a great night. No hangover though, apart from a raging thirst.

Happy New Year SSS's
No hangover for me but late to bed, around 1-30am & then up to prepare things because a friend was coming to us for lunch having struggled through wind, rain & flooded roads in West Sussex to get to us. But a good time was had by all.

Had a lovely quiet day at home and achieved lots!
We spent NYE with hub's family - they are big carb eaters and their son eats nothing other than a brioche for breakfast and a plain cheese sandwich for lunch - every day. He evening meal is chicken or burger, no veg. His favourite food is Pringles. I think he's going to be a perfect candidate for this forum in 20 years or so, sadly.

I suspect OH is quietly joining in with my fasts in his own way I.e. Not eating after breakfast (he'll never give them up) until I eat in the evening. Interesting, though he recently noticed his trousers had 'shrunk' and tooooo tight on the (slipped) waist!
Goodo I say.
Two hours to soup time :0)

Happy New Year from me. No hangover yesterday but had a lovely lie in. Huge shock to the system getting up at a normal time today. Got five weeks to loose 4lbs I know it should be do able but those final few are sooooo hard to shift.

I am in NSW Australia, today is a little cooler...36 degrees forecast but yesterday we reached 4 degrees higher than the forecast. How extreme are the weather events these days, huge icestorms in northern hemisphere and heatwaves in the southern!! A happy medium would be good!
