I had fish and chips overlooking the Menai straits today - oh they were good. Very good! In fact, 6 hours later, I'm still FTB!

I'm off for dinner shortly, being transported back to 25 years ago when my daughter Blaise was born, her father left me 7 month pregnant after a ten year relationship. It's his 60th and I will meet peeps I've not seen for 20 plus years - I'm doing this for my lovely Blaise. I'm so nervous and feel tearful. Here I go, wish me luck..... I'm ok really, deep breath and lots of Campari!. Lizbean x

Good for you Lizbean, emotional yes, but it will also show how much the world has changed over that quarter century, and you are a strong successful part of it.

 Thanks for the lovely messages of support, I'm sitting drinking tea, recovering from the champagne  and trying to work out how to tag you peeps! It was a very jolly evening indeed - amazing what you forget over the years until people remind you.  we even came back to mine and danced till 2am! So all is good and the sudden emotional panic I felt before leaving the house dissipated. One of the people I met up with was Chris, psychology lecturer - interestingly he has recently published research on sleep deprivation, so I am off to see if I can find anything of interest for the insomniacs tent ......

So, it's a day of rest and lots of tea for me as I feel I've returned from a weekends rave  :dazed: Todays learning activity is to read the forum instructions and find out how to tag .......

Oh so happy for you! Dancing til two as well! and a hunky lecturer!
Tagging is sooo easy.just click on the small " tag" icon, above right..the cursor appears between two little tag signs...just type in the name of the person you want to alert...
Click on preview..if the name shows up in bold,it's done..if not, youve probably misspelt or added / left out an upper case letter, but easy enough to check on that and then try again! X

Hi @LizbeanI've only just read your original post and I'm SO glad your evening went well and you had a good time. It would be nice if you were also able to put some old ghosts to rest. Enjoy Chris, he does indeed sound nice,
