Will give it a go Karen....I'm not a beer drinker, only a nice cold one by the pool on my holidays!
Hubs likes the taste of the Becks, so I'm guessing he's not an artificial sweetner taster like us!

They haven't really created a soft drink that hits the spot have they. Wouldn't it be great to develop something that is even better than Coca-Cola!

OH drinks it as he is not allowed to drink at all now with his heart condition and I prefer it to alcohol free wine. You can get it in Whole Foods and Waitrose, but I suspect it is in most supermarkets.

Is it available in the U.S.? We are miles from a Whole Foods - have you seen it anywhere else @rawkaren ?

I started last weekend as we had a party on Saturday. Going well so far - I tend to just have non-alcoholic drinks rather than substitutes - have quite a lot of diet lemonade left over from Xmas. No way hubs would give up his beer though and he sometimes also opens red wine while I am on the wagon so I do have temptation sometimes!

I'm in the tent tonight. Still early though and lots of wine and champagne left over from Christmas. Might get a cuppa in a minute. I'm not sure why I'm doing this as I don't drink much anyway. Because it's there I suppose.

Need to fill up with fizzy water as could easily drink a nice red wine at the moment. Or port, or vodka and tonic. Bleughhhhhh

Come on girls - we can do it - only 21 days to the end of the month - or a few less if you are going to kick back on that final weekend like me!

Ok, I confess, I've fallen off the wagon ! Had a bit of a rubbish week and gave in to temptation more than once. Will start again I suppose. So I'll try again, ending 10th February instead. No more wobbles allowed. Please tell me off !

@MrsTee - well that was the week that was, it's a bit like fasting in the sense tomorrow is another day without a drink in this case. Consider yourself told off .... if that helps. @carieoates hope the pangs disappear soon. :victory:
Unusually fasting today and that's pretty helpful as it means I can't have my Saturday glass of wine  Am I bothered - nah.
Reaches for sparkling water with a slice of lime.....

@mrstee - don't beat yourself up - just look on the "dry" days as a bonus!

Wishing you well!

Positivity is everywhere, never mind mrst, it's your own personal battle, and along with Fasting tomorrow is another day.
I had some non alco fizzy wine so no booze consumed here......I actuallly like the weight loss which goes with being on the wagon more than the wine itself.

Hi folks - I have a confession - I arrived in Burnley tonight at a station with no taxi rank, needing a wee (don't do loos on trains) so I found the nearest pub where I could address both issues and, thinking I should at least buy a drink, proceeded to buy and neck a large glass of red wine...........it was only when I stood waiting for the taxi that I realised what I'd done!

I apologise profusely - the same thing happened in October :frown:

I will have to add on a day in February!
