@wildmissus good idea re wish list! But you look really lovely just as you are,but i understand the wish to experience something different now and then..
Could take me some time to compile mine!
As for OH..well he could charm the birds out of the trees cdnt he! Take no notice,he' s just lashing out,let it go right over yr head, down yr back and slither away along the floor and down a big hole!  silly man! X
@CandiceMarie, I let it all wash over me. He has never know how to give out compliments but he is a bloke and I only need to say 'little winkle' and I've got my own back    .
On a more serious note, I received my copy of The Fast Beach Diet today, the book was only just released at the beginning of this month. It is an add-on book to The Fast Diet and is written by Mimi Spencer with a foreward by Michael Mosely. The book is designed for people who want to lose weight more quickly for a holiday or an event or for those who have plateaued. It is a six week programme. I have only just read a few pages but I looks promising with a firm six week plan with lots of tips. I'm looking forward to reading more.
Hello there thanks for the tip on the new book

Just had to do a liquid fast repair day.it went ok. To me easier than eating. looking forward to not fasting today though

Anyone got any solutions for crapey arms. Was on the elliptical machine at gym and noticed my arms when raised since have lost the fat are in need of toning now as can see where the far has left.u Having to content myself with being where I am. Think if I try to lose more that I will just get more wrinkly. It's a catch 22 isn't it.

Still I am grateful to be hovering 10 to 12 kg lower a year on. we do have the tool to smash through. I do low carb, watch my sugars and good fats, plant and fruit the main event on my menu. I do mix it up though.

Am considering having some fast days designed so as to detox. Reason being we must be moving old fat and I just wonder what happens with all the toxins so I want to make some fasts really focussed on a detox plan. There are my ramblings.

@wildmissus I am with @CandiceMarie think he is sour grapes you look great

@wildmissus Has he got "man boobs" then?
 And a little winkle!!!! That one gave me a good laugh .
Deffo sour grapes tak na notice
@Sue.Q, holidays do take their toll don't they? The good thing for you though is that you know low carb works for you and you can get straight back on it and hopefully no harm done!
@Wildmissus, I've seen some of your photos and they look lovely. Easy stategy for a man to come out with something like that isn't it? Like your response though!!!

I've had to have breakfast the last couple of mornings as I am having one of my week long neck-induced headaches and have had to eat in order to take the pain killers.

We are off on holiday so I am trying to put a strategy in place to minimise the damage. The first of which is to try and get a Fit bit before I go so I can measure my activity as we will be doing a lot of walking hopefully. I shall be trying to avoid the buffet as much as possible and hopefully have room service to limit the temptation!Shall also try to avoid breakfast as much as possible. We have a couple fo days where meals aren't provided, e'g' on an all day train trip, so a perfect fasting opportunity mixed up with money saving!!!
You made me smile/laugh this morning
@wildmissus thank you - I needed that my sweet, and you have a beautiful face and gorgeous smile.

@Debs how long before you go away? interesting enough am just coming out of a two day blistering massive migraine, probably caused by my neck/feet - but another friend ended up in hospital this week because of the migraines!

Something in the air? :frown: :frown:

I got a fitbit flex for my birthday a couple of weeks ago and I love it, it's a great motivator to get out and do some exercise - moving the body more, walking and recording the sleep patterns, etc. Mine of course is PINK!

Anyway, enjoy your trip away and I will miss you.

Hi @Sue.Q - I know you will be back on track soon, the main thing is you enjoyed your holiday you lucky thing - I wish!

cheers
Maggie

Something in the air???

Needless to say my eating has been shocking as I needed eat in order to take the medication - mainly copious amounts of toast and I was craving and ate ice cream and chocolates.
Hi there! Finish work on Tuesday until the 12th, much needed rest!! Bad headaches are, well a pain aren't they?! Mine are stress related any my neck is always the first to tell me that unfortunately.
Glad to hear you are using your Fitbit, sounds like something I ened, a bit of comptetition to move a bit up here. There was a volleyball match last night but it would have aggrevated my neck too much so I sat on the sidelines and insulted people!
I also got a fit bit...for mothers day but am not sure how to use it
Maggie, how do you record the sleep?
Gillymary, best exercise for arms is push-ups
Two kinds, arms wide and then elbows in...tricep dips
Do on your knees at first .
I am also going away soon, plan to walk a lot and try do dome fasts but it be will hard to skip breakfast as most places are bed and breakfast ..will skip lunch
