Hubby and I have been discussing this today and think that if you can never admit to yourself that you are fat, and need to do something about it, then perhaps you'll never become what deep inside you desire. And I am not just talking body image, it's about your health.

Surely admitting that you are fat is indeed a positive step to addressing the problem and doesn't need to be negative at all?

The fact that most people on here are actually doing something about it is what matters. Good luck to you all in this tent, I think the title is great if it motivates you. One's health is paramount.

Hugs to you all.
Fattie checking in!
Enjoying my non fast day and feeling angelic having done two fasts this week. Last week I would not have believed it was possible. What a difference a week makes. Still at the very beginning of a long journey but feeling positive. Thanks to all for the support.
Oh well done @bobshouse ! Doesn't take long to start feeling better does it..two fasts in and it feels good to be back on your horse!
I was just saying on another thread, i am trying to climb back aboard my horse, think he's a mule actually coz he keeps trying to throw me off!
Still its the first of May,a new month and I' m halfway thru a fast day..its one of those hungry ones tho..some go more smoothly than others don't they? X!
Hello peeps.
Well done bobshouse :like:
I have decided to use this tent as a starting again point, so I will be signing in under a new name which will be Lardy Legs  the bane of my life.
My target to lose is 28lbs. Not giving a time limit. I haven't done very well since August last year when I stopped breakfasts and started experimenting with variations of IF. So it's back to basic 5:2 that did work for me along with low sugar woe.
I will be back next week with an update.
Have a nice weekend
Lardy Legs x
I'm horribly aware of my empty tum today too, yet last Sunday's fast went by hardly noticed. odd innit. I've even resorted to a mug of bouillon, haven't done that in ages :0@
Hi LL aka@chriso57 i too feel like i' m having a brand new start in this tent!
Getiing back to basics and getting my act together are my mantras..Hugs from Trunky Legs! ( TL)
@azureblue i agree totally, some days are harder than others..some peep on here say the second fast of the week is harder than the first. However, overall, good fast day or noo,we hopefully still get the " repair" and..can anything beat that feeling of accomplishment at the end of a fast day? :like:
Great words CM, but I seem to have eaten more than intended this evening, I was so cold and hungry, a really bad day.
Tomorrow I start again, fresh and keen and hopeful as ever.
Sweet dreams :0)
Its hard not to eat more when you feel cold and hungry..you need that extra comfort ..and like Scarlet O 'Hara said .." After all, tomorrow is another day!" X x
Whew! Bank hol weekend! Skating on thin ice,i always want holiday treats !
Good fast yesterday but today,2 glasses of wine and birthday cake ..massive slice ..well youve got to celebrate pals birthdays with them!being very restrained this evening tho..not hungry so no tea for Candy
Have a good weekend tubbies,no longer tubbies, and tweeny tubbies!

Yay it's the weekend! X~
Brilliant day for me! I love anything impromptu..party,outing, visit etc..but an impromptu fast day is best of them all! Didnt want brekky, didnt want lunch,so a light dinner is on the cards.Today my body is telling me what it wants ( green stuff,so having watercress, spinach and rocket with some roast ham) and also telling me what it doesnt want..my emotional side is saying,oh some jelly babies wd be fun,but my body is saying, don't be giving me all that sugar, artificial colours please..and as for that nasty gelatine - basically hooves! - forget it!
Why can't every day be this simple! X
Weight hasn't gone down yet but strangely I do feel a little less fat. Fasts going well but won't get over confident as only time will tell if I am able to stay with this. I certainly plan to.
one day at a time, @Bobshouse. Sounding really good.

Filling in your progress chart really helps @Bobshouse. It was quite an incentive for me. Good luck and I am sure you can stay with it!
