Julieathome, you could cut your cheese into smaller pieces and freeze it if you want to avoid having to eat it! That's what I have done with our Christmas cheeses - otherwise I would never have managed to get back to 5:2-ing since I fell off the IF wagon!

I went into Tesco on Saturday and they had boxes of Black magic chocolates for £1.67. How could I resist? My husband and I ate one layer on Saturday and the other on Sunday - that's nine chocolates on each day for each of us. That's approximately 500 extra calories on both days for each of us! They were delicious though!

I haven't even got the excuse that I am eating up Christmas goodies - I actually went out an bought them! Is there any hope for a confirmed chocoholic?

... Which is now gone ...
@Silverdarling...as a friend's Mum has said for years,
" While you're eating that, you're eating nothing else"
Never quite been able to work out the logic of this remark, but it feels oddly comforting and cheering
So,Silverdarling, while you were eating that fudge, you were eating nothing else! xx
Thanks @CandiceMarie - now added to signature! :victory:

You CAN'T do that with a quality cheese, especially not a soft cheese (I forgot to mention the soft cheese with cracked black pepper or the French Roule). Or any of the blues as it ruins the taste never mind the texture. The texture ruination also goes for the firmer cheeses. If it was Morrisons basic, cheap cheddar I would freeze it, but it isn't, so I'm not, so I'm eating it all, bar the Wenslydale which is hubbies.

So there :-P :-P :-P
Was offered a Cadbury's creme egg today
Not just once,but twice!
Nearly cracked ( hehe, little pun! )but didnt...no easter eggs for Candy til Easter Sunday x :like:
O-M-G!
Was innocently standing in the Superdrug queue with a pack of make up remover wipes and a deodorant when my magpie eyes noticed something twinkly and gold..
My fave Quality Streets are the toffees in gold wrapper...theyve brought out a big, golden, oblong box of just QS toffees..
Cannot get the image out of my head! Get - Behind - Me - Satan!  :frown:  :dazed:    :starving:
OOoh, loving this today as I am eating again!!!
I can give in to my wildest food fantasies! I looked in my little fridge in my room this morning and gazed lovingly at smoked salmon, avocado, a tin of persian fetta, and.....chocalate! I haven't had any for three days so it had better watch out this evening!
@Candicemarie - I like the big purple ones and the triangular green ones    bit haven't seen a whole boxful of the same type! Must look out!
Oh stop now, you can rarely get them here! They are my favourite too funnily enough, fudge and brazil nut!! Now I need something sweet to eat!

Ok it IS the season to be jolly and YES YES YES we want to enjoy the Christmas fun and frolics..but call in here if and when you feel you might be in danger of going completely and utterly over the top calorie wise...( or unwise as the case may be!)
