UGH! Why is it so easy to GAIN weight and so hard to lose it! I was on vacation this week and so I didn't fast. I didn't go crazy with eating, but also didn't worry about what I ate. I did however, get more exercise in than usual.

But, here I am up a pound. GRRRR!!

Hiya buddy!

V sorry to hear that the gods were not kind to you over your Spring Break. :( It does seem so unfair. It can be very easy to put weight on - but weight put on quickly might also come off quickly if you do a couple of fasts in the next few days. Here's hoping! Maybe the break from fasting can give you the motivation to get back into the routine and also eat less of the foods that it is too easy to overindulge in.

I trust that otherwise you had a good time during the break - and that you did enjoy the foods that you ate(!) :)

I have managed a good fast today, but will be back into indulging in Easter goodies tomorrow.

Enjoy the rest of Easter :)

And I hope everyone is being a bit forgiving to themselves over Easter, if they need to. Best wishes to all. :D

I hear you cblasz, truly irritating! I am managing some restraint although I have to try to do something about my sugar craving which can be quite bad sometimes. I am going to be kind to myself the next couple of days then go back to basics.

Im back in the tent to vent about me!
Im fasting again to day and only had one fast day last week. This weekend I seemed to lose it. I had a couple of nights of drinking and a few takeaways this weekend. Im too scared to weigh now as I can feel I have probably put most of my weight back on.
Its all to easy to pig out and eat far too much rubbish but feel bad for it afterwards. Going to step daughters wedding in November in Jamaica so really want to get to a sensible size by then, but the time is coming round to quick. :(

Anyway that is myself publicly told off. Back to the fasting now.

Come on everyone. Let's rally round and give everyone a massive push. Positivity needed around these here parts
I'm logging all my food to keep a close eye on what's going in trying to eat within TDEE, smash my fast days and keeping my carb intake low. It's amazing how many things can creep into your mouth and not be accounted for.
Good luck all.

@philxjr i feel the same as you - how easy it is to eat rubbish and feel horrible afterwards!
And i agree with @carieoates too...we all need to give each other a big push! Its now post Easter and lots of us will be feeling like we did after Christmas .." The party's over"! time to climb back on board.
This is my first day fasting for what feels like yonks..yesterday i tried but didnt make it - today i will!
One thing i' m not gonna do and not everyone will agree..i am going to swerve the scales...i' m gonna go by how my clothes feel for a while..and by what the tape measure says!
Come on not a girl Phil,we are with you..lets all do what we do best ..our very very best!
Here's to health and vitality this summer! :like:
