I now have this image of you stealthily, 'ninja-like' approaching the scales.

Undetectable like a hunting panther, wearing only soft socks to dampen the sounds, I sneak among the shadows at full moon softly stepping on the scale to receive the blessings or condemnation of Master Tanita.

Well, in real life the weigh-ins feels more like a stampede. I picture the sound of dropping a big bag of sand to the floor. Thump!

On the other hand, after this comment I can't check my weight without picturing the same as you and grinning  Helps when the results are not as expected!

Tis but a number, grasshopper. Peek over thy girth and be off!

(BTW, those digits down there be-toes!)

Hi-Ho! and a weigh(t) you go!

Shuffle, shuffle, hesitating a moment mid-step. "Pfft!" Shuffle...

Yup, this is the Men's Only thread.

Crickets once more...

And the somewhat older Men's Only if I understand the reference correctly???

Yep, me born in 1960 :fighter-m:

If this is more for older men, I should perhaps retreat - I'm only 28!

That's true enough. I have the problem that I'm a serial lurker when it comes to forums, so I will be around, perhaps just not commenting much.

Well you're not the only one. Seems there are many 'stealth' lurking grasshoppers around. Perhaps we should organise a 'flashmob' one day and jump out of our hiding all at the same time

I am coming up to finishing my 2nd month on 5:2 and so far I am enjoying it!

Doing fine, working really hard to maintain weight (last fast 7 weeks ago) :sleepy:

Meanwhile: enjoying the winter olympics. Record breaking Dutch medal rush in speedskating :victory: :victory: (yes, that's my 'cup of tea', as I organise races on our local 400 meter track)

Nice one - I know a dutch fellor who keeps raving about the speedskating also!
Seems like the dutch are pretty good at it!
