Hey, I'm interested in cars, I am a biker (though bike less at the moment) My shed is possibly more tooled up than yours, ditto tools, and I think manly diet could be mine too.
But as I said, I think we ladies should depart.

A lack of response is also a "manly" way of communicating. Maybe we already have replied on your comments without any posts
Now that is very, very true.
Back to the issue of how to motivate guys to lose weight, I thought it might be helpful to repost an older post (with only minor edits):
Shocking weight loss and global warming car speed
Yesterday Some weeks ago I drove my new car (no, not a reward for reaching my goals, we needed one ) and I realised that we (my car and me) have a cumulative weight loss of 141.5 kg It never occured to me before that 5:2 is an excellent strategy against global warming for increasing car excelleration, as we will save a lot of fossil fual gain a lot of speed by not moving around these kilograms any more.
Perhaps we can even convince Jeremy Clarkson to go on 5:2

Well this thread is a lot more amusing, interesting, exciting and definitely more colourful than it was this time yesterday!!
There have even been some quite witty comments - and some of those from men!!!

Again, I can only think of another repost:
Just waiting for @carorees to provide us with some links to the scientific proof that fasting not only makes us smarter, but also increases our sense of humor.
Surely they would by now have found a way to measure the sense of humour of mice

Well we don't need any proof (the girls) we just need to look around the forum ... But you guys? Of Mice and Men ...
Let's hope @carorees can pull the rabbit out of the hat yet again and find some

Here you go! http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23755298
Mice on intermittent fasting had better learning and memory
But do they tell better jokes?? More witty remarks?
Or are they laughing out loud (or even smiling) when jokes are made
They can remember the jokes...possibly the most important part...it's the bit I always struggle with!
This article might be appropriate for the thread: "Man v food: male diets hit epidemic proportions"
http://www.standard.co.uk/lifestyle/health/man-v-food-male-diets-hit-epidemic-proportions-9046046.html
There's a brief mention of 5:2 at the end. There's a few snarky lines about men boring everyone with their weight loss details, and I can't agree with the "swap dieting for exercise" message either; how about doing both?
