What days do you fast?

Let's find out how popular each day is! :) Feel free to explain why you've chosen those days.

By popular demand I have edited the poll to allow 3 options, for 4:3ers :)

I've chosen days when I am less likely to be stuck in the house with 2 kid's expecting food every 30 mins! I vary my days if something comes up. I haven't got around to exercise on a fast day yet. I don't usually tell people I am doing this diet so I prefer not to have to refuse food and arouse suspicion. I don't currently work (please give me a job!)

I don't have kids, but I know what you mean - I couldn't fast at weekends for example when the husband is home, snacking all day!

I chose Mondays so I can fill up on roast on a Sunday evening and Thursdays so I can be social on Fri/Sat with friends/dinner out/takeaway or general treats.

Sometimes I throw in an extra day if I don't feel much like eating (like if I've seriously overeaten on a takeaway or something, and don't feel hungry in the morning).

I fast on Mondays and Thursdays. Mainly because that's what is suggested by Mosley and it makes sense to split the days up as equally as you can. It also fits in with my week.

It looks like Tuesday and Friday -- These are the days our son is too busy for a family dinner so it works well with our schedule.

At the moment i am doing alternate days(tho only been going a week post xmas and a couple of weeks pre xmas). i will probably gradually decrease fast days tho to 3 during week and weekends off, then 2 for maintenance maybe(fingers crossed) :)

Tues and Fri because it fits with our son's after school activities and means a can have a family dinner quite early on those days (I save all my calories for dinner and they have what I'm having but with potatoes/carbs). I can't wait until late to eat on fast days!

I currently fast on Thursday and Saturday, but if I look ahead and my weekend prevents fasting comfortably then I can swap the Saturday out for a Monday or Tuesday depending on the busier day. I prefer not to fast on a day when I have lots of spare time and weekends are super hectic so fasting is relatively easy. I would prefer to do Mondays but it's my study day and so I have too much time to procrastinate about eating rather than study - so i'd rather not give myself that burden.

I've jut started this week and quite enjoyed it although I have been craving junk haha. I chose Wednesday and Thursday this week but I think I'm going to stick to Monday and Wednesday as it works better as my hubby works late them days so on normal days I can eat with him :-). I'm enjoying my feast day today and getting a nice take away treat for tea tonight :-)

Sunday - 1st day of the week in the sandpit and Wed or Thurs , but swaying more toward Wed as the weekend starts on Thursday night

I mainly fast Tues / Thurs, as I'm in the office those days and I can more easily keep busy and away from food!

However, I work in the restaurant industry, so I have to swap my days about occasionally for days when I'm forced to trial our new dishes!

Only just started but will do Monday and Wednesday. Nothing to celebrate on Mondays, rarely go out once I get back from work so easier to plan and hubby works away Monday to Wednesday so only me to think about - no temptations!

I either do Monday or Tuesday and Thursday. I like to keep the weekend free so I can eat and drink normally to be social.

A "standard week" is Monday and Friday, but that can move around to fit my social life. Sometimes I'll shift to a Sunday or Thursday. I usually leave at least two days between fast days.

I chose Monday for no particular reason, although I do enjoy my Sunday roast, so maybe that played a part and Thursday just seemed to balance out the week. Plus these days are uni days and thought it might help having a distraction, that said my first week of 5:2 I was still on holiday.
