Our Frequently Asked Questions topic will answer many of your fasting & weight loss questions!
If you're new and have a question or need some advice, please give us as much information as you can about your situation in order for us to be able to help you as best we can. For example, it's helpful to know your BMI/weight, how much you want to lose, any medical conditions which might affect your weight and (if you've started fasting already) how you do your fasts in terms of splitting up your calories, what you eat etc. Thanks!
Monday and Thursday, because I'm not doing anything social those days (um... I decided that before I started doing some classes, first on Monday and now on Thursday, but I found it was no problem, especially since I walk up the hill to the Institute). Monday/Thursday gives me the option of shifting to Tuesday/Friday if necessary, and still have the weekend free for normal eating.
I see it's the most popular choice here....
This is my first week so I started Monday for the first fast day and today is my second. I started the diet before reading all the other info but started monday after a gut buster guilt ridden weekend... I was out wednesday night so thursday seemed logical.
my plan is to alternate days to fit into my lifestyle

I'm actually enjoying this WOE up to now and even look forward to the fast days! Is that weird?
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
Albert Einstein

I've done 13 fasts 5:2ing and have lost just over 10lbs which I'm really pleased with. Average loss and surprisingly easy to do. It's great isn't it?
