Re: Auriga's progress.

A blip again! 60.5k today that's an increase of 100g since last weigh in.....now look here that won't do at all it's going in the wrong direction. Might have something to do with the two half bottles of red wine I drank at the weekend.....and a gin & tonic! It's going to be a close call for the Christmas target, especially as I have an important dinner to do for Saturday involving (shock horror) sugary puddings.

So, so close today! 60.2k on the scales this morning. I think I shall make my target for Christmas.......fingers crossed.
Hubby has reached a plateau and isn't too happy, but he's lost one and a half stones so it was bound to happen sometime! Trying to cheer him up today now.

Had a rotten day..the computer had a meltdown reinventing itself and took hours to put right, in fact I nearly cried,(I hate Windows 8)! The weather was dreadful and I had loads of things to get done for Christmas. However, all fixed now I think. Well it was Friday the 13th I suppose so....but on the plus side.....I tried on a pair of shorts I'd bought for my hols next year (size 10 UK) and oh my! they fitted, a bit snug, but wearable and that means I have gone down two dress sizes now. Whoooooopppeeeeeee. The scales are not showing any more decrease, but I am smaller, which just goes to prove that you mustn't get downhearted when the scales don't show a loss.

OK Karen the race is on! It would be wonderful to see a number in the fifties wouldn't it, but after eating far too much last night after entertaining my son & his lovely girlfriend, you just might beat me! I shall weigh myself tomorrow, but not expecting it to be good this week. Mind you, I might surprise myself.

Weighed myself today and ......60.3k, up and down, up and down, but not down enough! Serves me right for eating a three course meal on Saturday finished off by Heston chocolates and a large Cointreau. It was good though!

Jumped on the scales this morning and no matter how I stood on them (upside down, on one leg, moving the scales around the floor etc. etc.) they read 60.1k. They are toying with me...the elusive 60k target!
I think ADF might be in order until Christmas Eve! :reindeer:

I would say that it's very positive all in all. I mean, you are indulging yourself (rightly may I say so) and you don't put on weight, that great news ! :victory:

I admire you and people you dare going on a scale like you do, I nearly have a nervous breakdown when I have to go on it

Dear Diary and all,
It would appear that I am maintaining weight and not losing, I think I need to review things in the New Year, because over Christmas it's just too hard to be really strict with yourself! I was reading something the other day where the research implied that your body can go into muscle repair (even when you're not exercising) and your weight stays the same even though your body size goes down slightly. Now that could explain a lot!

What a surprise on two counts! Firstly I reached my target, 59.9k and I was SO happy this morning. Then double joy because my younger son rang to tell me that he had proposed to his lovely girlfriend and she had accepted. Hubby and I are over the moon....we love her to bits!
