Magic!!!! A section for maintenence would be good wouldn't it? that way those of us following in your footsteps could continue to learn from your experiences. You'll have plenty of time to amass a good bit of experience before I get to join you! LOL

I was just thinking- did you change anything when it was slow going in weeks 2 & 3 or did you just persevere?

Well done! I have just reached my goal weight as well after 8 weeks, although the loss was slower as I only wanted to lose 7lbs. I'm wondering if I should do 6:1 or just make sure I eat healthily and not fast at all. Any advice would be great.

Well done, I have been eating too much on feast days, but your advise has made me realise, I need to slow down.

I posted on this board and persevered - having posted on this board I understood it was logical that I'd lost mainly water the first week so the next two weeks weight loss would be different.
@catgirl70 - I'm going to do the 6:1 because I like the discipline it instills (and the fact it reminds me what being hungry feels like!) But you should do what you feel most comfortable with. The good thing is that once you have lost weight on 5:2 without hardship, you know how easy (and cheap) it is to go back to it if necessary (after a holiday, for example).
I hope everyone reaches their goals with as much ease!
