Well done and thank you for the wise words....particularly about weeks 2 and 3. Being in week 2 and not having lost this week has not put me off but has slightly shaken my resolve. I will stick with this as I'm actually enjoying it!
Congratulations!
I need to lose a stone too to reach my goal, hopefully I`'ll reach it in 8 weeks too just like you.
Do let us know how the maintenance works out.

Felicitations!! Great news to hear that you have been successfully! I'm having a difficult fast day so this motivates me to give it my all for the next few hours!

Haha! That's me in my head, not real life!!! ... yet!!!!
Weight stable so far, 57kgs give or take 100g. I sort of did 2 days of 5:2, eating more than 500 cals (but no more than 800) in the evenings.
Great !! Looked at your stats and you have lost 10cm (4" old money) from your waist! that is fantastic - new clothes in the offing?

Just out of curiosity... is it difficult living in France with all of the delicious cheese that's available? Over the Christmas holiday, I think I put on 5 pounds just from eating brie with a baguette every morning!
That is wonderful Franglaise
That is how much I am trying to lose as well. I started at 63.4 Monday will be the fourth fasting day for my husband and I. I am now 61.6 I think the losses will slow down. Did you find it hard some days?

I still eat cheese, but not too much. I love a good unpasteurised camenbert, but have it just for special meals now (like tomorrow lunchtime, the same goes for the patisserie!)
Rosen70, when it was cold I sometimes found fasting hard, but the weight came off pretty steadily and one day isn't long, so in the end it wasn't too difficult. I actually enjoy fasting now and on the other days, if I'm not hungry, I don't eat. I think this diet is useful for helping you to change your habits regarding food and meals and when and what to eat. I also hardly ever eat carbohydrates in the evening now. Good luck to you and your husband. I feel and look a lot better at the bottom end of the BMI scale for my height.
Congratulations!! Great job!! I would like to follow in your footsteps!! Today is my 4th day of fasting.
