Congratulations!!! You are indeed an inspiration!!! I don't have much to lose either but my thyroid is not helping me and I'm scared for when I weigh meself and have lost none.
I hope to reach my target by Easter (the Orthodox one, on May 5th).

Congratulations! I too would like to hear about your maintenance phase following the 6:1 plan. It's true, you cannot continue to eat whatever you want when you reach your 40's! :(

The good thing about 5:2 is that it teaches you that you can do without meals, you don't have to eat for the sake of it. So if you overindulge one day you can compensate by missing a meal or eating less the following day. You don't have to restrict your diet, but just balance things out.

Well done - very motivating!! I have 10kg to lose and have lost 2 in a month, although as I said its been stagnant since first 2 weeks, so fingers crossed it will all come good for me too...I know that I have over-indulged on feast days so heres to a different approach!! Santé!

Wow! Congratulations! Will be very interested to see how you find maintenance and what you find works - hope to get there myself at some point too.

YIKES!!! There are few things that I don't eat (5 I think) and two of them are milk and bananas.
