Well I've pretty much completed Fast No. 3 of the year. Its all gone really well so far. This morning was just amazing. I felt full of life and so managed to do 45 mins of power stretching yoga. It seems to have helped with my constant neck and back ache. Mind you, a while later, having done some food shopping, the tired monster returned. I managed to buy some M&S meals which I shall use as my back-ups, just in case I'm not in the mood or don't have the energy for cooking.
All in all, its not bean a bad day, though and I was very good and didn't eat until around 6 this evening.

Well done @nursebean! I'm not ADF-ing - I'm doing back to back for a few days although it's not as bad as it sounds as I'm doing the fat fast which is up to 1000 cal a day (just had some cheese and crackers for my supper). Keep it up - hope your new-found energy continues too.

Thanks @Madcatlady. Back to back every day eh? Hmm I'm not sure I could do that!

I can usually keep it up for 4 or maybe 5 days - the weightloss usually makes it worthwhile!

Did you do that on purpose ;-)

I'm still sticking with ADF. Today is another fast day. Yesterday was the best non-fast day I had in awhile, even though I ate outside my 8h window, mostly because I drove all the home from work only to find I left my house key in my office. Doh. That set me back about an hour for eating dinner, which I might have skipped if I hadn't done HIIT and was feeling a little shaky.

Another fasting day for me, I'm feeling sooooo much better for being back in the ADF tent :), not sure about the aches from all the jumping about, push ups etc but I know it's doing me good so I will keep going.
I got asked how I'd managed to lose weight the other day, apparently the person asking was very interested as she has 3 stone to lose. So I divulged, starting gently about 5:2, then slipped in that actually I did ADF. Mmmmm........do I need a book? No, do I count calories?.. Up to you, but yes on fasting days, do I have to stick to salad? No. How long before I see results? Most people will lose in the first week. But it can be a slow process. And you do this every other day? Yes. I'll think about it. Ok. You know when you've had a conversation with someone and you don't know why you're having a conversation because they have no interest in the conversation even though they asked the question! I know she will never do 5:2 because she sees it as too hard, you know, the idea that you don't eat, that you will starve, that you will simply fade away without breakfast ,lunch ,dinner and the snacks, that. I understand that fear, I know that some people who know what I do, my lifestyle choice, think I'm mad, think what I'm doing is unhealthy, stupid (yes I have been called that) I've even been called brave! Really?!? But I know that thanks to IF I feel better in my skin, my eczema is almost gone, my eating habits are under control, I eat so much healthier, my stomach is happier, flatter and quieter! My weight is going down, my skin is glowing ( well maybe not when I first wake up- I am not a morning person!) and my shoes size has gone down half a size, I have big feet, this is a big deal for me!
So I will carry on being stupid, unhealthy and mad until I'm at a healthy weight, so I guess I'm here with toothbrush and spare knickers for the foreseeable!!

Keep up @MaryAnn. I only ever write been...as bean (its the beanness in me  )
Love what you wrote @Minsmum and I'm so happy to see you so fired up and enjoying the ADF lifestyle. Long may it last! So far I'm pretty pleased with myself...just wish I could get rid of this awful greeny/bluey hair colour. No matter what I do, it just WON'T go!
I've just enjoyed my mum's stew! She always bakes a rice pudding when we have stew, so I have bean thoroughly spoiled today. Well, theres always tomorrow to repair isn't there!

So far this first week is going pretty well. Obviously I wish the fat would disappear more quickly than it is but tomorrow is my first weigh-in so hopefully I'll have lost a stone this first week (wishful thinking eh!)

I won't have lost a stone this week but if I can whittle another lb off it will be half! I know a bit will probably go back on cos that's how these fat fasts seem to work but I can honestly say I am feeling better for it already!

Keep at it @nursebean - you're doing so well!

I'm very impressed with your half a stone @Madcatlady! I thought you were joking at first. Well done you.
Well, this DODO is nearly extinct too, so I think I'll hit the hay...and in the morning? Its weigh-in time...gulp!
 :sleepy:
