Yay indeed! @lovemyparrot, and a lovely speech too. Well three out of five is good enough I guess. Boy it was long though! I do have to say that Lady Gaga's tribute to The Sound of Music was nothing short of stunning. A nice surprise.

I didn't care much for the some of the outfits, especially those which were cut to the navel. Rosamund Pike, Rita Ora and Lupita Nyong'o looked stunning though.

Lupita Nyong'o - loved those pearls. I was surprised by the lovely Gwyneth P. and Jennifer Aniston !!! Lady Gaga was another wonderful surprise !!!! Those shows are always SOOO long but once a year - - why not????

@Tracieknits, do you know how you tell the season in Seattle? Answer: The temperature of the rain!

WOW...it's been ages since I posted here! I have been keeping up with all your posts, just not taking time to post.

I don't watch the Oscars as I'm not a movie goer. I do like to look at pictures online the following day of what everyone was wearing. Some beautiful and some just plain strange!

Not much new here. Just trying to survive the end of winter and this terrible cold weather. I have been forcing myself to go out at 5:30 in the morning to go to boot camp. Not easy to do when it's so darn cold! Brrrr!

Happy March! Anyone still in this group?

I'm here although mad busy. Weather is still kind here but we are badly in need of rain. I'm sorry for everyone on the east coast having such a miserable time of it.

I actually did a run this morning. I have to be careful as I suffer from hip pain if I overdo it, but great to do once in a while.

I'm here, I'm here!! I was looking for this thread this morning, but didn't take time to dig for it. Thanks for bringing it back Canoegal!

Trudging along, losing some and regaining some, but the trend is down.......ever so slightly.

The weather is really wearing me down and I'm about ready to crawl in a hole somewhere. We were coated with ice last night and this morning and now more snow is coming. It's getting a bit hard to take. Ah well......chin up!

I've started doing 16:8 on my non fast days and I'm just about ready to open my window. Going out for lunch for a treat and boy am I hungry! Next fast day is tomorrow. I'm ready!

How is everyone else doing?

I'm down 1/2 pound so far in 2 months. I gave up trying to do 4-3 on Fridays and instead I am trying a 16-8 by skipping breakfast on most days along with my 5-2. I'm looking forward to spring, they say we might get up into the 30-40's next week. Will have to walk outside in that heat wave!

I'm still here - check in most days. Our weather is going to be ab. fab., mid-80's by the weekend. What have we done to deserve it??? Not complaining, tho' - that's why we live here and put up with high prices and all the other aggro.!!!

No weight loss - just trying to maintain - do about one and a half fast days a week - not really enough but I've lost my enthusiasm a little bit - hope I get it back again SOOOOON !!!

I think it hit 38 here today, but it felt positively balmy. I was running around without a coat on! I also got a haircut, so I'm feeling very cute and sassy. Now I just have to figure out how I'm going to tell the woman that normally cuts my hair that I cheated on her >.<

2nd Fast day of the week is half over! :victory: Really not minding it, especially since the scale has been inching down every day this week! I still can't believe it as on my normal days, I have been eating what I want. The only difference is doing the 16:8 plan on those days. I just hope it keeps working!

I drove to work in a blizzard this morning! It only last a couple hours, but what a mess! Higher temps are promised for next week. Please let it be so!

Have good days everyone!

I'm in the final stretch as well. I eat dinner in less than three hours :-)
We didn't get any snow, but I'm seriously looking forward to temps above freezing next week. It's about time!!! Plus I'm getting so tired of my treadmill.

we are warming up there! Going to be in the upper 50's this week. Unbelievable! All our snow is melting. Bring on spring :)

Definite Spring fever here! I was just out to run some errands on my lunch hour and it is beautiful! It is over 50F, so that would be 10C or something like that. Anyway.....feels great! It was actually above freezing when I went to boot camp this morning at 5:30. It was nice not to have to bundle up...a sweatshirt was all I needed.

Having a much needed fast after a weekend of too much eating. I gain on the weekend and lose during the week. I'm not making any headway!!! I'm hoping once golf season starts and I'm out on the course all weekend instead of sitting at home wondering what I can eat next that things will improve! I get lots of exercise as I walk the course both Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting.

Hope your Monday is a good one!
