Except for cheese I'm just not really a dairy person. I buy the really thick yoghurt with passion fruit or berries ( looks like a fruit syrup) swirled through it and portion it out for the 5 of us. The kids gobble there's down then mine just sits in the fridge. Its not that I don't like it. Its just that even on feed days I only have 2 meals and yoghurts not what I feel like. This WOE really makes you picky in a good way. But you have helped me! I have salads everyday and I will sprinkle it on my salad. Thanks Deb. Xxi just saw your post @jools7 thanks for the tip. I'll use my mortar and pestle.
Xxx
Funny isn't it? Yoghurt is something I seem to crave with fruit after a fast. I eat a lot of greek yoghurt, in fact my break fast is calling now!
I don't have a bon appetit and that is weird!! I ate nothing yesterday and am just not hungry today. I had to force down a packet of Maltesers earlier
My appetite has disappeared, along with my ability to type at the moment
Is that different to normal Deb? Do you think its the ADF?
I'm like that most of the time. I 5:2 and 16:8 or even 18:6 on the other 5 days and I find now I hardly ever get hungry. I just sort of feel nothing and when its close to a normal meal time I just sort of think "well,I could eat.". Don't know what to make of it really but I suppose its good as I don't feel ravenous and like I will faint/die if I don't eat NOW! like before march.
What's for dinner?
Yes, I think it has exacerbated it (good word for a Sunday arvo!). Looking at your weight loss, it is obviously working well for you though! You must be really pleased with how it is going. Just wondering if you or I will get the famine reaction?
Dinner, mmmmm. Not sure I can face the mess tonight, the smell usually puts me off!! I still have lunch in the fridge, salad, chicken and avocado. We shall see. I get Facetime bullied by hubby if I don't eat!

What are you having?
@Debs You almost succeeded in having the 'front page' filled on your own  Keep trying!

And make sure you do eat sensible, to prevent famine reaction indeed.
Hee, Hee!!! You can tell I'm not very busy at work can't you? Good time to catch up on everyone!!
Ok, you did it! :like: Congratulations, now get back to work or we will inform the management!
I might join you in ADF this week, Debs and Bean. I need to shift that Malaysian banquet and fit into some NYDJ jeans apparently. Oh, and there's that little niggle called the Valentine challenge.
Well, with no other eating highlights on the horizon, ADF it is!
Sounds like a plan. Why don't you tie in with beanie @nursebeanand keep her company as I and Tim are a 'fasting item'
What?! You mean bean is now a gooseberry? Oh perleeease!

I thought you were doing well Penny but pleased to welcome you aboard the bean machine. Are you fasting today?

Bean
HI Deb,
Re famine reaction- hopefully not as I follow Moogie and Cororees in their eating less during weekday eating days and wey hey Fri to Sunday nights so my poor body doesn't know what's going on. Dinner this Australia nights BBq- lamb cutlets (yum),sausages (not for me) replica of yummy salad from Caitlin's Los carb thread yesterday ( my secret is I bake the walnuts then drizzle honey on them ) ive spread garlic butter on old sour dough bread, and haloumi and fresh tomatoes. Cooking now. Xxxx plus my own mini raspberry baked cheesecakes for dessert. Xxx
yep, beanie, can we be beanie pals togevver?
What days do you fast and I'll do the same. Need to shift those last few pounds - oh, and the Burmese chicken, salt and pepper ribs, samosa, Malaysian beef in coconut and some RICE I ate last night
:curse: not to mention the chicken in peanut sauce

Good morning ladies, another bad in night at Ballerina Towers although I missed all the action over on the insomniacs tent ( predictive text fairy just wrote 'insomniac stent'....oooo) but up now, clean as a clean new whistle and feeling a little perky, much better than the previous few days but throat is still sore....mmmmm.

Anyway, personal experiments, how they going? I blew the VERY low carb yesterday quite spectacularly. A couple of bars of chocolate mysteriously disappeared down my throat before I could apprehend them and send then back to the fridge to behave themselves. Then I had half a slice of buttered toast, the first TOAST I've had in months and lovely as it was I realised that I seem to have got over the desperate need for toast that has been dogging me. I am not bothered though as I obviously had a need and now it has been fulfilled today will be roast chicken with a LARGE selection of steamed vegetables, tossed in Normandy butter with sea salt crystals, just before serving. Creme fraiche with a drizzle of vanilla bean paste stirred for dessert and perhaps a lump of cheese, all washed down with a nice glass, or two  of Beaujolais .

Is today an eat day or an alternate day? Are you losing much weight and do you feel better for it all? Sounds like a plan that you, Weanybeany and Penny all synchronise your fasting, how much fun would that be? I've always fancied having a go at ADF but, for the moment I am a bit committed to trying out this low carb regime and so far, so good.

Have a great day Debs and will see you somewhere around the forum in the the middle of the night, sleep well when you hit the pillow,

Ballerina x
