I think it would be better to start a fresh in the new year with a new club rather than extend this one.

People can then decide if they wish to re join and newbies join in. I am guessing alot of new people will pop up Jan 2nd !

Start a fresh with new goals. I think if we extend this for Jan its going to get a bit confusing ! Some people may reach their final goal by the end of 2013 (my fingers crossed for me!), so I will move to maintenance and won't be checking in. Might join a maintenance club :)

Just my 2p worth  :clover:

:)

Point taken but i have to "step out" of club management early in 2014 due to some new work commitments so for me its best to make sure the 150 here reach their Christmas goal at least. I agree there should be a 2014 year club or there can be, if someone wants the challenge.

Moreover, if we start a new club it feels too much of a failure for the first club, and im determined to make sure each and every 150 member get to their goal in say 6 weeks if thats at all possible. Of course, the exception is those who drop out of the forum altogether but expecting that only to be a handful and those that just dont want to come out from under the camp bed.

so for a short while there might be 2 of these subclubs but i can see theres plenty of these miniclubs emerging

short people
mature age

for a wee while, the new club probably cant run signatures cause it will make for a crazy long signature.

this Christmas club has been very very inspiring for me and hopefully for others and Miss determination here will have everyone green or at least 140 people!

Wish I could say I've reached my Christmas goal but it was a bit optimistic. Can add another 300g to the total weight loss which is a total of 700g, not a lot but I made the 500g per person. Can I get my BMI below 22 by next Friday?

thank you for reporting in @Madmoisduring the week. ive updated post !.. keep going through Jan to get to your target
I'm staying hidden  . I have out on 2kg and can't face coming about of hiding! No idea where those extra kgs came skulking from but I can't see them going anywhere in the next week. I shall try but we shall see, and I shall stay red until then!

Oh dear come out .. it must be very uncomfortable under the camp bed.

Im sure you have mentioned it before, but what is your latest method of Intermittent fasting. Describe your typical week and maybe we can all here work through with you and develop a "plan of action".
Club member no 2 reporting as very worried about public flogging! Pleased to report that I started at 77.1, and am now 75.5 so 1.6 lost. Would have liked to have got below 75, and still might by christmas but the socialising is full on now and my will power is weak when offered fruit mince pies.

On plus side we are in full summer mode here in NZ so its much easier and nicer to be out for walks on the beach and other fitness activities like climbing Mt Maunganui
This week I have been doing more of. 16:8 and partly fasting and a normal meal in the evening as I am staying with friends which makes proper fasting a bit harder. Next week I am fasting Tues, Thurs and Sat at camp, it will be a lot easier on my own. I'll just be able to eat sensibly on the other days and see where I am when I get back to Perth on Sunday. I'll keep to 16:8 over Xmas and start afresh in the new year. I'll also be seriously back at the gym in the new year which will also help.
Hi @Juliana.RiversMember #83 (I think) 3.1kg lost, 3.4kg off target  It took a while to start going down but now that it is - dare I say it - I seem to be on a roll :like:
Hi Juliana

#8 checking in. Another loss this week makes it look like I might just see 69.9 on the scales once before Xmas...even if the trend weight doesn't get there! Signature updated.
