Re: Are you 5ft 4 (ish)?

Hi.
I'm a Newbie
5.4 and was 11.10 at Xmas which horrified me. Heaviest ever!
Had two c sections and all my weight is on my middle with big boobs Grrrr

Goal weight is anything under 10.7lb with a normal bmi

Was 10.4 at my wedding ten years ago and not been 9.7 since my early twenties so I'm aiming for achievable Right now. Once I get there I will reassess

Currently weigh 11.4lb ish but no scales here so I only weigh when I visit my mumBlast time was a week ago and done two more fasts since then
My clothes are getting looser though for sure. :0)

Weighed in this mornining and am pleased to report my weight does now begin with a 10! :D Ok so it is 10st 13 lbs but hey! Feels much more achievable to get to 9 something now! How are the rest of you 5foot4ers getting on?

It's my second fast day today and will be weighing in on wednesday morning for my first weigh in. Feeling a bit of trepidation at the day ahead, wondering why as I actually enjoyed my first fast last Wednesday.

Well done on reaching the 10s Claire - brilliant loss!

Vx

Im a newbie too! Im about 5'5 and would love to be 9st something but have a loooong way to go yet. Plan on taking it one stone at a time. On second week and feeling fairly positive. Still finding it hard to believe this is actually working for me!

Hello
I am 5ft 3inches I always thought that I was 1/2 inch taller but now aged 65 have shrunk. I have 5 stone to lose so I am aiming for 10 stone. My lowest weight was 9 stone before marriage & children & I have never been back there. After getting Glandular Fever & whilst on night duty, I was a student nurse! I was 8 1/2 stone but looked awful. I am a small frame but pear shaped so big bottom & thighs. It would be lovely if those shrank!! I am also appalled that I weigh more than my husband. :o

Good morning on my first fast day. I am 5.1 and used to be 5.1 and a half many years ago. I have selected 9st 10ib because that is what I managed to get to last time I lost weight. Weighing myself this morning, horrified, I said about time you did something about it.!

Well good luck! It's very unfair that we're all shrinking! That means we've got more to lose! Why can't we be stretched then we'd be thin?!

I'd love to get down to 9 and a half stone......so just under 2 stone to lose. ;)

I'm 5ft 5. I'm aiming for 10 stone, but to honest it's been over 20 years since I was under 10 stone (currently 10 st 7), so I'll see how it feels and take it from there...

I'm 5'3" (like others, mysteriously used to be 5'4") and a small frame and was 8 stone 12 for years. Then went above 9 stone, and for the last year just over 10 stone! Time to halt the decline into excess weight, not least because none of my clothes fit me and I can't afford to buy any more! So, my target weight is 9 stone 2. We shall see! I think that this diet will suit me well as it's much easier to think about just one day, rather than seeing months of dieting ahead. Also, my husband (was 12 stone 10 when I met him 30 years ago, now 15 stone 7!) has decided to join me on the diet which makes everything easier,we're enjoying choosing suitable recipes together. I'm 54.

I'm 5'5" and my goal is 9 stone...though 9 stone 7lbs might be a bit more realistic as I haven't been 9 stone for about 11 years! I recently turned 40 and have been a stay at home mum of two for the last 6 years. My youngest is starting school in September so I think it's time to get rid of the baby weight! I'm planning on going back to college so I want to be in great shape to meet the demands of juggling life as a mum, wife and mature student. Eek!

I'm 5'5 and always used to fluctuate between 9-9 1/2 stones. Then I started doing sport and went up to 10 1/2 stone but no real difference in body shape - still flat tummy etc but obviously more muscle. Then I had an accident that meant I couldn't do the sport any more, got married and comfortable and put on 2 stones+. Heaviest weight till now is 12st10. Start of the year was 12st5. Started a VLCD on 2nd Jan and lost 8 pounds, but realised pretty fast I couldn't sustain it. Only really managed 2.5 days before cheating and eating real food! Weight went back up to 12st1 fairly quickly after stopping the VLCD, which shows it really is fake weight loss. Then I heard about this and decided to give it a go. I did my first week last week. This morning, I was 11st12 after week one of 5:2 so I'm pretty happy with that! I'm keeping 4:3 in the arsenal for the future if things start to slow down, but already I feel like I'm changing the way I think about food and how much I eat, even on feast days. I'm remembering what I used to eat when I was slim and that can only be a good thing! Ideally I'd like to get to 9 1/2 stones again, but like you, 10 st something is my next goal and would really be something after 10 years of being 12 stone plus! Good luck all!
