Another one at 5'.3 1/2" and aiming for 9.7 but really want 9 stone. Took a longtime to get under 10 stone but now 9.9 the lowest i have been so far. Really feel that I can do this diet and keep to it and finding the fast day quite easy.

Ooh 9st 9! Well done you! Just think how lovely you'll look in summer clothes! Have you been doing 5:2 long?

I have just checked my height as I am getting on in years but I am glad to say that I have not shrunk :D

For years I have been carrying an extra 7 to 10 lbs which I know does not seem much if you have more to lose. But it stubbornly clings to my middle, limpet like, and I am now determined to shift it. My top weight has been 10st 7 lbs and I started the 5:2 on Monday of this week weighing in at 9st 13. This morning after two fast days I am 9st 9 and a half but I will wait until Monday for a more realistic result.

My goal is 9st 7 although I will review it when I get there.

Being a young mature lady I would rather carry a few extra pounds than look drawn and haggard. 8-)

I'm 5ft 5. At the moment I want to be a weight beginning with 11 and then after that one starting with a 10. I really want to be in the normal BMI range so I need to be 10.5 stone or under. Its been many years since I was under 10 stone so not sure if I can aim for that yet ;)

Hi
I'm 5ft 4 and currently 10st 9lbs, would love to get under the 10 stone mark. My main issue is my belly and waist size makes me so out of proportion as quite slim everywhere else.

Good luck, my 1st fasting day is monday so really don't know what to expect!!

Well good luck! It does get easier, I'm only on my 3rd week but I do actually look forward to the fast days now. I don't think I have lost much this week but I think that was to be expected after a good start. I'm not going to stress if I haven't lost........... Honest!

Week 3 results :
Lost a lb which I'm happy with. I didn't expect a great loss this week as I'd done so well for first two weeks. Have started to feel ill though after eating on my fast day. Feel really sick & headachy. ( and sorry if TMI, but was sick after eating on last fast day & had to go to bed)I have been saving cals for one meal as I've always suffered with severe blood sugar spikes & falls. Not sure at mo how to progress...... Any ideas?

I'm 5ft 4 and aiming for 10stone 5 lbs which would make me just inside my ideal weight range. I think I was about a size 10/12 when i was last this size. I don't think I would look right under 10 stone but can't ever remember being that small so who knows!! Would be happy just to get into the 10's :)

I'm also very nearly 5 foot 4, I'm hovering around 10 stone at the moment and aiming for 9 stone 10 and ideally 9 stone 7. I've lost nearly 3 stones over the last 2 years but I find maintaining my weight really hard and seem to put on weight really easily so I'm really hoping that 5:2 is going to help with this plus the health benefits seem really good!

Sorry to hear you felt sick after your last fast day. I had my first proper fast day today and saved my calories for one main meal in the evening but I was starting to feel quite light headed and may try eating a little earlier on wednesday, my next fast day.

I'm 5ft 3 ish and much heavier than most of you, I'm now 12 stone which is crazy!! I got married over 20 years ago and was a lovely petite 8 stone but its been creeping up after kids etc. I'd love to be 10 stone but first I'm going to aim for 11 and have feasible targets. My first fasting day has gone well today so hope I can be good tomorrow on my feast day. Good luck to all of you xx

Carorees,
Friday I just had drinks in the day including coffee & bovril. I had an M&s beef stroganoff ready meal for dinner with a few extra veg. Today I had ( drinks as above) small bowl of beef stew which has carrots, turnip, onion etc plus a few potatoes. I drank 3 x 500ml bottles of vitamin water on both days plus some regular water.
