Frustration leads to failure almost every time and frustration leads to binging a lot of times....

No shame about the half pizza, last time I ate some was 3 weeks ago and it's always high quality fresh ones Pizza was one of my food groups before, now it's only once in a while, wayyyyy better

As I can't go out today I am trying to read about philosophers, beginning with Espinoza. What a great way to spend the day, isn't it ? :dazed:

I'm feeling rather ill this morning. Its too many meds I think. I think I have sinusitis (have I said this all before?) so on top of my usual tabs I am having to add decongestant and nasal spray, copious amounts of nasal spray.
Its either that or the nausea is caused by the sinus inflammation affecting my inner ear and causing dizziness.
At least its putting me off my food.

I sympathise with you Julie, I really do, I also suffer with sinusitis, and also get labyrinthitis, the dizziness and nausea can be awful. I did have anti sickness pills once.

I spoke on the phone with my doctor and he wants me in again to check me over.

I received my most recent letter from the specialist detailing my last appointment with some new words such as Rombergs test results (very positive) its the one where he told me to stand up and close my eyes, whereupon I promptly fell over., and Hoffman test again positive. But still no date yet.

Julie, are your new symptom related to your ongoing, already diagnosed "disorders" (for want of a better term)?

Hi Peeps, just checking in here to see how everyone's diddling! Hope the sinusitis soon clears Julie, I'm a fellow sufferer too and know how painful it can be. :frown:
Hope all our friends over the pond are well hunkered down and keeping warm although I've heard we're in for some arctic weather here in the UK too in the next few days. Time to get the thermals out I think!

My doctor doesn't think its sinusitis as there are no other symptoms. He's checked my eye, my temperature and my blood pressure and all are fine, in fact he was delighted by my blood pressure 110/70 *polishes halo*. He is hoping its just a tension headache caused by the pain in my neck and said to give it another week and get back to him if its not resolved. There really isn't anything that my neck can do that goes uphill, all the problems associated with my neck will be downhill of the injury. So apart from tension headaches he is a bit puzzled. I am going to continue with the de-congestants for a few more days and see how I go.

Anyone watching Stargazing Live? Big aurora display predicted for the northern hemisphere tonight...in about 4 hours time (just after midnight in uk). Expected to be seen as far south as Manchester if the weather's clear. Sadly rain predicted here  I would so love to see the aurora!

Also they're interviewing the cool guy who's just finished a spell on the International Space Station and did that brill video of David Bowie's Space Oddity.

Plus another dose of Brian Cox...yum!

Hi All, I am having so many problems getting pages to load and then being timed out that I can hardly read any threads let alone post. I realise that this is due to increased traffic which is a good thing. Welcome to all our new people. But just thought I'd say in case anyone is wondering where I am. I don't know how I will cope with my fasting Thursday tomorrow without the support of you lot. It might not be easy but I will do my best.
