The rain has held off all today, the cat is sunbathing on the lawn, my washing is nearly dry and I'm about to have some Hairy Dieters Chicken Korma with spicy courgette spaghetti, tomatoes, garlic and yellow peppers.
Its been a picky busy day. Sorting out little jobs rather than the big job I had planned, a good day.

Lucky you Candy @Candicemarie We had rain all day yesterday. I'm pretty sure the local county shows must have bean waterlogged. What a shame, when we've had such lovely weather lately. Hope it didn't spoil everyone's Bank Holiday. As for me, I didn't do much...just poodled around the house I guess. Feeling a little bit more human...or Beanish today. Getting excited about my holiday now. Looking forward to floating in the sea...but I might just chicken out of that idea.

Bean

Isnt it lovely to get a little windfall@Silverdarling Pleased for you x
@Sue.Q no the roof garden isnt posh, but its nice..its actually right above my bathroom and kitchen, which are both small,so the roof garden is only diddy in size but pretty with plants, windchimes etc and a very nice place for all of us - though only a few of us use it - in this block of flats to get out and have a glass of vino on a sunny day! Just have to be careful we dont tumble over the edge when we've had a few!
It looks across to the Catholic cathedral which is known as Paddys wigwam coz of its unusual shape!
Nice to go there and watch the sun rise too on these summer mornings x when i can drag myself outa bed that is  x

My friend has a growing collection of sketchers @CandiceMarie they look and feel fab but for me I thought the "rocking" motion bit to much.

4 hours sleep. I could cry.

Hubby had a bad night last night, so I got to bed at 3:45. I woke up at 7:00 needing the toilet, then just lay in bed trying to get back to sleep till 7:45. so 4 and a bit hours sleep. I'm grumpy, frustrated and envious of the men still asleep. As soon as it's 9:00 I am going in my shed and making lots of noise. But till then I am going to drink copious mugs of tea and make lists.

I really feel for you @julieathome
I often only get 2, 3, 4 ish hours sleep, but at least i don't have to lie awake while the rest of the household sleep on and on..
I guess you' ll have been clanking round the shed for a while now ! Maybe get a siesta later if you can? X
