I had the orange and almond one too tonight Sue. Really liked it and will stock up again when I can. Don't have an Aldi near me but happened to drive past one by chance late on Friday night. It was open till 10:00 and I had the place to myself. The boy on the checkout was a good salesman and told me about their award winning Shiraz. I will give it a try after Easter.

Let's hope our fast n repair days save us from this ..fingers,eyes and legs crossed x

Dementia. I guess it is whether we believe the research on gluten, sugar and grains. Here is the thread for anyone interested. I actually watched the show here in the US. It was such a pity they try to monetise everything here as the research on its own is good enough. the-5-2-lab-f10/dr-perlmutter-and-his-book-grain-brain-t9346.html

@Chook I'm so glad to hear all is going well with your sister. My wishes for a good recovery for her.
We have had another offer on our house today, have told the estate agent to accept it so fingers crossed all goes smoothly. Then I might be able to indulge in a new lounge for our rather empty lounge room in our new house.

You need to send your house up here Debs, they sell pretty quick. Also with all the people that wanted to but it the last offer was a fair bit higher than we thought we would get.

Yes, I know, I can see it, but no one else can! Other peoples' seem to be vanishing as well.
Things are always slow here, plus we have a conservation covenant on it which means that it will only appeal to certain people, but we don't want to sell it to someone who'll just chop everything down and run trail bikes everywhere.

Oh @Wendy Darling, not potatoes - how naughty! Have we been a bad influence on you? I really hope that you enjoyed your 'roasties'. Don't panic if the scales show a slight increase though - it's only your body hanging on to slightly more fluid than usual because of the carbs. It will come off - honestly, it will! It was lovely to meet up with you the other day.

@Chook, glad your sister's surgery went well and I hope her recovery is as swift as it could be. Well done for fitting in a fast with all that going on!

My birthday tomorrow and I'm going to be 'a lady that lunches' with a couple of my very best friends! Fasting today though - in preparation for the feast to come! WI tomorrow and I have a stack of stuff to get ready for it - I'm the Secretary - for my sins! So why have I spent almost the whole morning on this forum?

Such a beautiful sunny day here, really makes you feel good to be alive! We've had a new half glazed external door fitted in our kitchen this morning and the difference it makes is amazing. The kitchen is north facing and was previously always dark but now the light is flooding in!

Spring has sprung @callyanna My morning started with one of those personal tests us women have to endure at the docs (Bloody painful today ) and I've just returned from just a short walk home and have seen birds gathering nesting material chirping to each other a good day to get into the garden but for me that will have to be
tomorrow's job. Sue
