Hi All. Going off air for a couple of days. FIL passed away this morning. V sad. I don't have a father and so he played that role in my life.
Quite a bit to do as many of you know. No doubt I will check in during quiet moments to keep in touch with reality.
Karen.

I'm also thinking of you at this sad time@rawkarenIt does seem extra sad to lose a loved one so near to Christmas. I hope you will get the chance to remember happier times with friends and family of your father in law
So sorry @rawkaren.it is difficult to deal with at the best of times, but must be doubly so with all the festivities going on around. The quote that helped me most was -Your death is an event in someone else's life,so true but so difficult for those left behind!
@rawkaren, I have only just caught up with this thread and I am so sorry to hear your very sad news. 2014 hasn't been too good for you, so here's hoping that things are much better in 2015.
