@candicemarie. Its a two day wonder for them and then they ignore it. It doesn't matter if they pull it over because they will only do it once and then give it a wide berth. The hardest bit is when the deco's first go on a the cat tends to come diving through the tree to grab whatever is moving and I end up getting scratched.

It will be interesting to see what the poodle does to my tree when I finally put it up!
What a beautiful cat, @rawkaren. The tree is lovely too !!!!
Our "twiggy" tree in the lounge (proper one shut off in conservatory) currently lies on it's side having been subject to a flying tackle by a certain tortie kitten.............
@rawkaren So sorry about your FIL, I really hope he's in good hands and they will deal with the pain properly
And Archie is a handsome boy Does he have a girlfriend ?
Today will be a day in bed as I have a big bad case of PMS with migraines AND stomach ache.
No tree here, it would be impossible with 3 cats in a 35m2 flat ...Just a few decorations here and there.

@rawkaren Hope all goes well with your FIL and that the rest of the family bears up well, too.
I'm a very proud mum today! My 3 kids ( aged 20, 18 and 16) just became 3rd Dan black belts in Take kwon Do after a gruelling 5 hour grading where they had to fight off 3 attackers and break 4 wooden boards in 4 different ways with their feet and hands. I've never seen then so exhausted or so happy!

Another December weekend, another pair of Xmas tree festivals in local churches. It's really taken off round here, everyone seems to have one, from a dozen or so displays to over 115! All jolly and good fun and gets everyone into proper Xmas mood :0)
By the way @Moogie, could we have some new emojis please?
