After watching a ballet tonight I am waiting impatiently to watch something live from Brasil  It won't begin until 2:30AM so there's still a bit of waiting but, as an insomniac it shouldn't be an issue

Getting up tomorrow morning will be hard......
I hope you kept your cut-off hair, @Manderley. You could have sold it! I'm pleased that you seem to be feeling better and keeping busy with all your dancing. :like:
@StowgateResident Thank you, yes I feel better these days, it really helped to find something to be passionnate about even if I am excessive. And yes I kept my locks, in fact I kept all of locks hair since I was 3 years old, it gives a good idea on how my colour changed over the years. Some people have some weird fetish, don't they ?

Last night was just wonderful and worth the wait, even if I am feeling really really old today
Manderley wrote: Just did something crazy, chopping my hair off. I did it by myself, as an impulse and, even if I still have what can be considered like long hair, it's gone from my bum to where my bras is

May regret that impulse tomorrow......

I have a friend in the US who grows her hair butt long and then cuts it of shoulderlenght every now and then and donate the hair for wigs for cancer patients.
I am not sure mine would be accepted as it was pretty damaged (very curly and very dry). I don 't even know if we do that around here.....
Gahhh! Ive just received an email from a local restaurant titled
" Christmas is just around the corner"!
Can we please have the rest of summer and autumn first,if its not too much to ask? X
@CandiceMarie  They didn't say which corner though, it could be the one from an other town far far away....
I don't do Christmas, even more now because of the situation, so I don't care really

A long day on the road ahead, we should arrive before late tonight. The girls are safe at home, with somebody to look after them and Happy, the little devil, is with me and already gave me a bit of a scared when he disappeared for what were the longuest minutes ever... I was looking for him like a maniac and there he was, running to meet me, not stressed whatsoever and not understanding why the crazy woman in front of him was shouting
@manderley i love yr photo!
Where are you off to today?
So glad that Happy wasnt lost for more than a minute, but what a heartstopping minute it is til you spot them! Safe journey for you today x
@CandiceMarie Thanks. Me and my beautiful girl Fiona. 2 redheads together

Happy was lost for almost 10 minutes. 10 looooonng minutes where I didn't stop calling and calling like crazy and this one was clearly carefree when he came back. I didn't have the heart to punish him....

I am off to Nice, in the South of France. So it's nearly 1000 km, which should take some time as we (I am with a friend of mine who is driving most of the time) have to stop regularly for Happy. I will stay there for the rest of the week. First holidays away since 2001
 @Manderley, I hope that you have a wonderful holiday and that the change of scene has a good effect on you. There will be no dance classes though, I imagine?
@manderley have a fab time, you deserve some fun and happiness and relaxation! X
Ten mins! So scary...DDs cat was missing for a very long half hpur...found snoozing inside a neighbour's wardrobe!
Phew...Thank goodness for happy endings ...xx
No dance classes however I will practise at least 2 hours on my own every day. With the walks in the mountain near by and the swimming in the sea, that should be enough

Already rang 3 times at home to know how the girls are doing. I think my sitter will go crazy before the end of the week....
The Handyman is here doing a few jobs for me..
He was talking to me about putting up shelves when he suddenly stopped midsentence...
After a pause he said, ive lost it now..ive just noticed yr slippers...

Theyre filming ' Houdini' in the house opposite..
I' m hanging about hoping to be discovered!
In other news, after 29 years faithful service my boiler has died. Luckily we have an electric shower and its summer so it's only hot water to the sinks we're missing.
I put the immersion heater on for an hour this morning and it worked well but is probably hugely expensive. I rarely use it so I'm wondering what the optimum length of time might be? Any thoughts anyone?
The company that do the boiler annual service are going to come quote for a new one but it looks like this is going to be a long drawn out business with a large huge massive bill at the end. Ho hum.
Onwards ...
