Go on Ballerina! You can do it!

All set for day 2 today, had a PT session this morning and told my trainer about the 100 pressup challenge- big mistake! He made me do 10 sets of 10 press ups (3/4 ones, knees on ground, leaning out)- the swine! Form went a bit by the last 20 mind... Hopefully by the end of the challenge I'll be able to do 30% full ones-

How's everyone getting on with theirs?

Day 2 completed, by the skin of my teeth, at the second attempt. I can't believe how perfectly the max test is set to just a bit more than my ability!

Not looking forward to Day 3 on Friday...

Still thinking about it. Thinking is what I do best and I do it much better than I do press ups!,,

Lol Ballerina, you can think while you press! Honestly, my upper body strength used to be terrible, but with some training, I'm a bit less weedy than I used to be :)

Completed Day 1 sit ups yesterday and Day 1 push ups today without any problems so far :smile:

just completed week 1, day 3. barely finished the last set (form wasn't greatest at the end there), but wow, i am already stronger! but it wasn't easy. will check in again next weds for week 2!

Saw this thread yesterday and decided to start today!

Did the inital test last night and was mildly shocked to learn I can't even do one proper push up! OH said I wasn't going down far enough and when I tried I just collapsed! I did the initial test with the knee push ups and managed 5!!!!

So I've decided to start from the beginning with knee push ups until I can actually do a proper push up, and then start from the beginning again with a proper one!

Tried some knee push ups and while I could do some, I just couldn't get close enough to the floor without collapsing on it! lol So .. this morning as I was standing in the kitchen listening to the news, I realized I could do push ups against the counter. So I will start from there and when I can do 100 standing or leaning then I will work on doing them from my knees and go from there. :)
