Did you repeat the failed days, or just carry on regardless? I have been strict with myself but I perhaps wish I hadn't - especially with Dragonbirdy trying to get me over to the Dark Side!

I've failed on the 5th set, not reaching even the maximum (week 3 day 2) but I decided to carry on to day 3 and see how that goes. When I fail badly I will repeat that day until I manage.

I'm not sure what we are meant to do but I decided I would continue with the plan until the end of the week and then do it again if I failed on day 3, but to my surprise I succeeded. I did them on Monday evening (fast day), Wednesday evening and Saturday morning. Maybe doing the final day in the morning and with an extra night inbetween helped too?
I would find it easier to continue the week and then repeat it as necessary. But that is mostly because I think it's easier to track by week. In any case, am done with week 2 (barely!), and moving on to week 3.
ETA: just remembered to take the test, and apparently, have to repeat week 2. So back to week 2 it is!

Yay - just done week 2 day 1 - last 5 were sheer agony, but I did it
Just completed Week1 Day3 - but my maximum was still their minimum (13)!
I suspect Week2 is going to be desperate...

Well, if it's Monday it must be pushup time. Coordinates so well with fasting! Must say, though, I'm finding it so easy to think about other things that need to be done every time I consider doing these. Got to break through the mental barrier!
I'm starting my challenge today!
Hi All,
Week1, column1, day2 completed and did 6 for the max, 50% increase on my initial test (which was just 4 ).
Have had a lot of discomfort and tenderness since day1 (Saturday).

Not managing the 5th set now but allowing myself a 6th set to complete the minimum and thus continue to next week. The rate of increase is really too fast though.
This thread keeps popping to the top and reminds me to do my sets. I'm doing them against the kitchen counter for time being, figure when I can do 100 easy style, I'll be set to start over girl style. I've never been able to do them knees up, so that will be several months getting there. lol Week 3, column 3, 2nd day

So true. I will probably need to do double weeks...nevertheless I see my capacity is increasing...faster than when I tried chinups too.

Trying to visualize this...I better stop!
Hi. I am a new member to the Forum. Like the idea of the 100 push up challenge; it's a target to work towards and should help to lose weight and tone up at the same time, also like the idea of doing this on fast days. Trying the 4;3 approach.
Fast day tomorrow so will give it a go! Good luck everyone else who is going to try it!

Welcome to the forum and the challenge Dan!
And Tom, not sure which part you tried to visualized but trust me, it's not a pretty site.
