 Yes I'm in for a fast tomorrow
and @Maggiee its wet and freezing cold here an my washing is drying indoors Lol .
I will be in, in the morning. The second day of a back to back as my week has been thrown completely this week. I had homemade tuna fishcakes for dinner today with vegetables and a small squirt of sweet chilli sauce. Tomorrow (Monday) will probably be a chicken salad. I am hoping I will survive as I seem to be going through the stages of a mild cold, without, so far, the miseries associated with a cold. I've had the sore throat, the itchy nose, I've just started sneezing and I have a headache starting from the blocked sinuses. But its all mild, nothing to put me on the sofa under the duvet.
Yes, I'm in too! Jamie oliver blackened chicken in San Fran quinoa salad for dinner (p. 46, 15 min meals!) - it's got mango in it! I'll be mostly making it before I go to teach at 1.30, and decreasing the oil and feta to get it within 500 cal. Then all I have to do is cook the chicken when I get home, only takes about 7 mins.

Happy fasting everyone! Yes, beautiful & cool in Melbourne today, thank goodness! Still some fires going, unfortunately.
I'll be there -after I've had a good nights sleep- hopefully!
My post went AWOL so here we go again. I am in for Mon. fast. It is still Sun here but looking forward to the fast tomorrow. I have been using ADF for the past 2 weeks and until today, was not impressed but suddenly lost 1.5 pounds overnight.
Not sure if I can continue on the ADF indefinitely. Dr. Varady dismissed Dr. Moseley's program and book, but really, it is much easier to pick 2 days out of the week and stick to it than to have different fast days every week. And judging by the traffic here, it is much more complicated than that ( 16:8, 4:3, etc, etc)
Good luck everyone and hope the Hunger Monster is sleeping today for all of you. :like: :clover:
I am in! my plan for today lunch about 3pm warburton thins 50/50 toasted with a thin spread of tuna and red onion, then about 7pm grilled chicken breast with salad. Sounds yummy!

Good luck everyone with your fast x
I'm in once morning gets here. Really looking forward to it. Even though I've been tracking calories in MFP, I feel "big" today & yesterday, despite the fact I went down another notch on my belt....I know this method is slow, & I'm sure by tomorrow evening I'll have a better perspective. It doesn't help that were getting another -30 wind temp warning. Between the cold here, the heat in Australia & the flooding in the UK, we've really seen some wearing weather extremes. It does play with your head sometimes. Happy fasting all.
We're in as well in Saratoga. We won't eat anything until 6pm, when we'll have large spinach salads and a small piece of lasagna :-)

I have one smaller pair of underpants (Xl instead of 2xl) and I've been wearing them today. Maybe they're just the tiniest bit tight, but I'm just thrilled because last year at this time the 2xl were just a tiny bit tight. So tomorrow I may be buying six new pairs, since they're on sale at Target. My goal is for them to fit by the time we fly to Amsterdam on March 7 :-)
I hope everyone is going well today. I'm having a pretty easy fasting day, however as the day gets later 5pm now) I'm really looking forward to my chicken sitrfry for dinner.
Hi everyone.
Today was always going to be a fast but has turned out to be even more of a fast than expected...
Woke up feeling really seedy, made myself get up and walk the dogs, but had to find a public toilet on the way (TMI sorry...) and have since been in bed all day - where I still am. :( Feeling slightly better so just about enough energy to type a few words.
We had dinner with friends last night, and I did overindulge, so I guess I am paying the price - I certainly had more wine than I have been having, and a lot of meat and nice cheeses (I can hardly bare to think of the food!!).
So when I looked at the posts on this stream I had to skip past all of today's fasters' evening meal plans!
I have just been having weak black tea, peppermint tea and water and could not face anything else. So no probs fasting today for me....!!!
Hope everyone else is going and feeling ok :)
I am in today too, starting a back to back fast as I am on a 3 day first aid course from Wednesday. Hoping I can manage it.
It is chicken stir fry for tea tonight, followed poss by some berries and greek yogurt and a prawn stir fry tomorrow with poss the fruit too. Good Luck everyone and well done to those who have finished already
Hi and good luck today! Fasting too in the Northern Hemisphere. Salmon sashimi on the menu tonight, with a huge green salad, and dressing of fish sauce, lime juice, wasabi and a teaspoon of agave syrup. Can't wait...!
Good morning everyone, I'm in today and have baked salmon with sweet potato wedges for dinner. See you on the other side.
And good luck to all the newbie fasters out there.
I'm in!
"And about time too!" I hear you say. Well, yes no excuses... I hit maintenance in the autumn, then celebrations coincided with me stopping using MFP since when my weight has gone up. Obv doing 16:8 isn't enough to offset what must be over TDEE on the other days.
I'm in today! Monday is my 1/3. I really hope this week goes quickly- it is half term next week and I am leaving on Saturday to stay at Jamie's!! I'm going to have a go at 4:3'ing while at his place. Happy fasting all!
