I'm in today. I've stopped liquid fasting for a while, while I get settled into 16:8 on feed days.

I've got leftover pork caserole for dinner tonight (son gets the yummy potato topping, I just get the meat)

My tummy rumbled when I got up - hoping hunger will pass soon, and I'll get into the zone.
Think i'll join the fast train too and not have any delays! lol, actually had forward thinking and planned my day, a bit carby but hey ho, everyone does it differently! :D good luck everyone else from a very rainy Essex!
Morning all! I'm in today ready to start my first fast of a 4:3 week! Big day today as it's my 1 month anniversary of this WOL.

I've lost 6.4lbs so far and my goal for valentines (which would be exactly 5 weeks since starting) is 7lb. Very excited!!!
It is a fasting day for me but I have a meeting and a pub lunch so perhaps I might go over my 500 cals. I am going to try not to!

I'm in. Usual Monday fast for me.
Morning everyone! I'm in today too, I've been swimming already and am now sipping water with lemon juice.

We've got a big celebration at the end of the week as my mum is going to be 80, so she's coming to stay from Somerset (if the train gets through the floods). My son and gf are driving up from Surrey, and my best friend is arriving from London. Lots of food will be consumed so I have to be especially good until Friday, and back on the wagon afterwards :)
I'm in today too. I have chicken with honey and lemon tonight for dinner. Someone posted the recipe on here and I have adapted it to bring it under 500 cals.
My first fasting day today, so l have a question please l want to add stevia sugar to a very sour grapefruit, it states its calorie free, do you all agree?

Joining you gals and guys for fast day Monday after having feasted it up two days in a row this weekend. Don't even feel like eating anything today after all I had at yesterday's bbq so hopefullly this will be a great fast day!

Oh no @sassy1 hope you'll be feeling better soon. Poor you, that's horrible. I was going to post a picture of my evening meal but maybe I'll wait a while. Don't want to cause any sudden dash to the "little room"

Blimey, isn't Monday a popular day for fasting! Is that because we all feel guilty after a naught weekend d'you think?! Certainly true in my case. You know when people say "I only have to look at food to put on weight"? Well that REALLY is true in my case. I've just had an innocent "birthday weekend" and I didn't go mad (honest I didn't) and I've put on 4lbs. 4lbs? I hear you cry. I didn't even think I'd been that bad :cry:

Anyway, today is the beginning of a new Bean because I am SO determined I've even got steam coming out my ears...watch this space

Also fasting today,

Funny story though,
Went off to a meeting and when I returned one of the colleagues is celebrating his birthday and he brought in some goodies.
I smiled and congratulated him and went to my office, on my desk I find a plate neatly covered with a serviette with: sausage roll, beef skewer, chicken skewer, fat juicy pork rib and a battered something (could be a cheese ball)
Secretary proudly whispers I got you some before it is all gone. :grin:

So what to do? :confused:

Hi everyone!
I'm new here and I'm starting week 3 of my 5:2 today... not seen any results as of yet but struggling not to overeat on my non-fast days, and I've only got a few lbs to lose, so it's gonna be slow going. Gonna try only having one meal later tonight, with a light late soup lunch if I need it, previously I've been having 3 very small "meals" at normal times on fast days but then wanting to snack all day!
