Day ending here. Dark falls. I have had an excellent fast. First, 2 out of 3 people who came here this morning to do political work were also fasting today. How good is that? They've been on 5:2 about a month less than me and have lost 10kg and 7kg respectively. I had my prawn salad about 4.30pm because I had to go out. 'Dinner' was provided at the event I went to - fried dim sims, sausage rolls and stuff like that. I wasn't at all tempted and didn't eat anything. I had soda water. So feeling pretty virtuous. I hope I'm not hungry at bed time.
Well done Sallyo in resisting temptation today! I hope to do likewise with the cakes & biscuits that will be on offer this afternoon at my beading group. I've had a rather calorific weekend with a Valentines dinner, wine & chocolate so I am much in need of a fast day & getting back on track! So coffee & water until my supper of M & S Meatballs & spaghetti Fuller longer meal.
I hope you all have a good fast day I'm off to do the ironing which will keep me busy for awhile :grin:
In for my usual Monday fast :) No food until dinner tonight after a short gym session with no cardio - quorn swedish meatballs, wholewheat pasta and bolognese sauce. Can't wait!
I'm going try fasting today, I don't know how successful it will be as I'm at my boyfriends lol this might be the first fast I actually give in to.
Groan...my starvn! Think I will have a hot blackcurrant squash.
I'm fasting too today - just off to make myself another black decaf coffee to fill myself up! :heart:
Was happy with the green teas and water until I started flagging at 2 pm and then my bullet coffee kept me going with no thoughts re eating or drinking until was heating DHs dinner. Tiny serve of Greek salad looked too good to pass up and low cal hot choc on almond milk for a nightcap. Off to tally up on MFP.

I'm in for my usual Monday. I am still managing to be good on repair days but the other 5 days are a disgrace with far to many carbs being gobbled. I am hoping that this is the week I will get back to the routine I was in before Christmas and holidays. Good luck and willpower to all fellow fasters. :like: :clover:
Yep, my usual Monday ... emerging from a fug of flu and needing to get back into the feel of fasting.

Monday morning over here and it's a repair day for me, aiming for 800 calories today :) We're going skiing tonight so the big challenge will be staying out of the concession area!
I'm in today - just water and a cup of pod machiato (sp??) so far (2.50pm here right as I write this) and I doubt very much I will reach my 500kcal for dinner since I plan to cook fish for my men. Yes, you read correctly - fish! Not something that occur very often since I simply don't like fish. In any form. But I found a recipe at my fav recipe plays for the all Swedish dish "cod with egg sauce" and thought "they can't have meat all the time - can they?) You oven bake the cod and serve it with an egg sauce (chopped up hard boiled egg in a white sauce) and cooked potatoes. According to the recipe it's 500kcal for 100 gr. 100gr is a loooooot of egg sauce I presume ;) Ack, tomorrow is an eating day :smile:
My first fast for 2 weeks. I had deliberatly stopped fasting to see if it would help my body reach a set point. But valentines day (BIG box of chocolates) and generally not eating carefully have put on 8lbs (in 2 weeks eeep!). I know a fair bit of it is water, but there will be some fat weight there. I have to do something, this plateau is breaking my spirit. I really need to lose another 30lb before my surgery date. It has amazed me how quickly the weight piles back on again when you stop fasting.

So today is the start of a classic 4:3 with Monday, Wednesday, Friday fasting.
Fasting today and predict it may be hard. 8:00am and already had some greek yogurt. I think I am starting my cycle. Sorry if TMI but it may make a difference. How do other women deal with it?
Today is my first fast day, since starting the SMART Easter Challenge on the 14th. I'm looking forward to being a size smaller at the arrival of spring! ~ Ann
Chicken in the oven, not long to go now! I had an unplanned fast yesterday and so today I've found myself almost giving up using that as justification! But NO! I'm blimmin' well doing this.. It's basically done anyway so IN YO FACE naughty thoughts! Ha!
