Keep this up and you won't be a lazy exerciser!!! Autumn is perfect walking weather isn't it? I had to have some nuts so I could take some drugs for my neck, but that's ok, I normally take a day to get back into things.

Juliana.Rivers, I haven't updated my tracker as I am hovering and decided to wait out the plateau. I don't want to depress myself!!

fair enough. stay focussed and keep smiling. onwards and downwards
The other day ( easter saturday) I wasn't tied up with making meals with family and I thought I'll just wait till I actually feel hungry to eat. I felt hungry at 2.30!! But couldn't eat till 3 pm. I just find that amazing! If we actually listen to our bodies they talk to us. Usually I eat earlier on the weekends because its nice to have family meals together ( even though I'm not too hungry) but I like that the other weekdays I can really eat when I need to which is usually around 2-3 pm. I think I understand my hunger signals and rarely experience ( a term someone used on our forum ) 'limbic' hunger where its emotional or visual not true hunger. I really feel that this is a huge success for me and I know its due to 5:2 WOE regulating my appetite and I'm sure this will be a big factor in maintaining an optimal weight.
Just wanted to share that and shout out of my window " I love eating windows!"

It is nice to feel in control isn't it?! Good for you for being in a good space!

I found the same too. It's taken many months but my body is used to occasionally just "going hungry". its not particularly uncomfortable and you just know if you can hold off its doing the repair work it needs.

I find my first true hunger starts at about 1pm.
I do feel kind of hungry in the morning but it's really thirst I think because having coffee certainly sorts it out. I think I am still getting mixed messages from my body re hunger and thirst! About lunchtime I think I start to feel properly hungry.

Yesterday I broke my fast with some nuts at about noon which kept me going until 2:30. As the metabolic benefits of fasting are due to the lack of carb intake, I effectively extended my fast by having the nuts. If I feel really hungry earlier than I feel I should (i.e. before I want to open my eating window) I often have a handful of nuts.
If I start to feel hungry before 'opening time' I have a couple of teaspoonfuls of double cream, hits the spot every time. Nuts sound in nice as well,

Ok.after much reading on all the forums and much thought I have decided to do 16/8
But will try 4/3 as well
So can I please join this tent?
After overeating terribly yesterday, todayI ate nothing until around 4pm ,had some homemade soup
And then will make a low calorie dinner.so today I will call a fast day plus 16/8
Wish me luck, have to lose these few kilos that keep common back

Everybody's welcome @sarahg! I agree with you Caroline, sometimes I think that I'm hungry in the morning but then I have a cup of tea and then I'm fine for hours.
Thank you @gillymary, I live in hope of working out what works for me eventually!! It is all a work in progress at the moment. Everyone is different and how our bodies work is unique as well. Some of ours are more problematic than others!
As you know I am with you. I did ADF for a week but today I had a rest while I had a cookathon. Now have supplies of roasted garlic cauliflower soup, spinach garlic and mushroom ...the green soup and just because I could ... roasted quinoa and vegetable stuffed peppers. Oh and spaghetti Bol sauce and garlic bread for my darling for evening when I am not eating. Oh well onwards on with my similar quest to you ... cracking the code of weightless for us stubbornly clinging to our adipose
Sounds lovely! Yes, definitely stubborn, that's for sure, but there must be a way of breaking through!
I'm really pleased with 16:8, but the thing I'm struggling with is the early morning nausea - I have had it all my life, and used to settle it with a big breakfast . It does pass, and then I'm fine, but its annoying.

And I'm 100% sure I'm not pregnant
