Every day there will be a new topic in this forum for today's fasters to chat & support each other.
Please don't make extra threads in here besides the daily fasting threads, if you've got a question please post it in the relevant forum or ask in today's 'Fasting Today' thread, thank you.
Unfortunately one of our contractors has just walked into the office with cream cakes, so it is going to take masses of will power to leave mine in the fridge till tomorrow
Good luck all of those fasting today.
I am fasting today as well, it’s my second fast of the week.
I love this way of life. I have learnt that I can manage hunger and even on feed days, instead of snacking I can now just wait the 45mins before dinner.
I have soup in my available for lunch if needed but lately I prefer to save my cals for dinner – So I will have to wait and see how my day plans out.

We're having chilli tonight too - I'm not doing much in the way of accomaniment for me, as I want to maximise my chilli portion
I'll probably have some rocket and spring onions on the side and maybe a bit of chopped chilli and some parmesan on top.
I wasnt planning on fasting today, but have been invited out for birthday cake tomorrow, so this works best - everything higgldy piggldy due to the hols. I fasted Tuesday, so this has come round a bit quick, but should be fine. I've got lots of housework to do this morning, then looking forward to an afternoon knitting in front of TV.
I have to go to Waitrose today, which I oddly enjoy on fast days, looking at food, and planning the menu for the weekend.
I'm using cubed rather than minced beef so I'll save the lettuce leaf wrap idea for another meal. I think I'll add some Slim Pasta to mine and make myself a side salad
Instead of breakfast & dinner am trying to last until dinner with maybe a Miso soup and apple at lunchtime.
I'm interested in the Hairy Bikers' book, has anyone tried splitting the recipes? Mostly cooking 5:2 just for me. Anyway, onward & upward! Have a good day all.
Right time for a lie down and a read. Good luck to everyone.
