Oooh noooo! Can you not bag it and pop it to one side on the pavement and collect it on your way back? Or do you not run back the same way you came?
When I ran with my dog before I had to do this, especially as I found running a lot gave him 'joggers belly' shall we say
Been finding it relatively easy with no food so far today - it's been good to remind myself of how good it can feel to go without food for longish periods of time

Very happy for you and your knees, hope they get better and better!
I am doing my second fast today, have had a coffee and so far that is it. Treating myself to a hair cut this morning to pass some of the time Plan on Making Chirizo, Swiss Chard and White bean Soup along with small salad for my 500
Feeling headachey but not too bad, drinking lots of water
Hope everyone has a great day!
Kathleen
First day of only having one meal too - finding it a little bit harder.....
Good luck to everyone!
Well done to you all. Very inspirational lot for sure.
Coffee with skim milk to wake up and now at work having ice tea w/lemon and feeling headachey but I think too much caffeine. I am going to put the tea aside for now and get a big glass of water. So great to be able to read eveyone's story and be encouraged to stick it out. I know I definitely feasted over the Easter weekend so I am also going to add a half fast on Saturday.
This is my 4th week and 8th fast so I know can make it through to the dinner that is cooking in my crockpot right now! Thanks to everyone for sharing your journey on this site. In the U.S. the program just aired on PBS last night so hopefully there will be more joining in from this side of the pond.

It's a circular run. You should of seen me you would have died laughing. She kept dragging me into hedges to sniff out various things!
On holiday hubby was moaning about his protruding belly so I am trying to persuade him to join me on 5:2. He can go for several hours without eating when he is busy with something, but he does like to snack at frequent intervals especially when watching TV. We did Dukan together three years ago for a couple of months; I lost 10lbs and he lost 2st but I felt really unwell and became anaemic while doing it so we stopped and the weight crept back on.
Today's fast seems easier than usual - perhaps it's because I've been eating lots for the previous 6 days and my body is glad of the rest!
Weight is coming off - but nowhere near as fast as it usually does for me (before bounding straight back up again.) The question will be whether this method is more sustainable than others
Today I have homemade turkey vegetable soup and some fresh cut veggies for lunch and for dinner I’m trying large shrimp and veggie stir fry over sharitaki noodles ....I sure hope I'm not disappointed because I was so excited when I found these noodles at the market!
Happy Fasting
Looking forward to my king prawn stir fry.
What a supportive forum this is- thanks everyone! Great to read about everyone's highs and lows; the highs really help to motivate me and the lows make me realise that I'm not alone.
Keep going UK gang, nearly there! I expect the aussies all made it to the end. And good luck to the USA gang today.

It goes back to that other topic I started, but I still haven't found an answer why some get a lift and others find it a downer, and most of us are pretty much in the middle. I can't recall how long you have been fasting Pip, it might get better with practice? Like...
