Hope everything's OK with your Aunt TML13...
Thank you!!! :-)

Easter is her favourite holiday, I hope she gets well enough to enjoy it. Although I know I'm asking for a miracle...
We are joining all of you wonderful fasters today . We will be getting snow today here in Colorado and looking forward to spring :victory: We are starting our 8 th week and feeling great. Sure don't get tired of this WOE. Excited how fasting days affect your feasting days by not wanting to snack or eat big meals. Kind of like a natural lap band
BTW, I'm also fasting today.

Used to weigh on Mondays too but, having read that I should leave it a couple of days to get a 'proper reading' I'm going to leave it till Wednesday morning.

Not having anything to eat until tonight, when I'm going to have salmon with a green salad and a small amount of honey & mustard dressing. Am tempted to split calories and 'break-fast' during the day, but view this more as a break for the body to repair itself (rather than calorie-reduction) and I'm not sure how it'd work health-wise if I just cut the calorie intake.

Any boffins out there know if it's the calorie reduction or the actual fast that makes the difference? I thought it was the actual fast, but don't claim to be scientific!
I'm in. I think it might be a rough one today. 8:30am here and am hungry. I think I'm paying for all the sugary foods I ate over the weekend. Doh!
First fast today in over a week because of illness! Doing better than expected, though my fruit salad was stolen from the work fridge! Why would anyone do that?!
Glad to say that I was in today. Great day. I was worried because it was my first day away that I've had a fast day. Six inch turkey Subway for lunch without cheese and a touch of tomato sauce is only 250 cals!!! What a discovery for when you're on the road.

Then watched Eat, Fast and Live Longer on TV tonight to top off a good fast day!

HAHAHA! I think it was a case of mistaken pots of fruit salad, found one at the back of the fridge past it's used by date, so think that was their's...still...no fruit salad for my mid-afternoon snack. :frown:

I'll have to hold off until after work now.
Good morning from New York, USA, starting my 3rd week. Down 4 lbs, 2lbs first and second week. So far so good. I do well with fasting Mondays and Thursdays. Good luck to all of us fasting today, April 22
Does anybody remember that episode of Friends, when somebody stole Ross' lunch and Phoebe wrote a note to put on his sandwich on the next day? It got him into serious trouble, LOL!!!
My first day of fasting, looking forward to all I can learn on this site!

almost 10 am here in Canada (eh!) and I'm on Day ONE of fasting...EVER! I'm pretty excited, and have given myself 10 weeks to see if I can notice any changes. I'm curious to see how I react to an actual hunger pang, it's been years since I felt one ! LOL
