Just a quick message to wish you a good fast tomorrow@clairemarie. You don't really need it as you are doing so well at the moment! See you Monday
Morning@clairemarie Well my weight has gone UP again! Last week everything was going well till Saturday but ...... I don't feel as if I have had a blow out or anything. We did a lot of walking on Friday and my legs were quite achy so maybe there is some excess fluid on board. My % fat has stayed below 31 so that is quite reassuring. I am shortly off to aquajog then I have a little bit of shopping. It is the half term break this week and the couple I work with have gone away so as well as my 2 full days I am doing half days today and Wednesday so I shall be at work this afternoon. I am planning a tiger prawn curry with cauli rice for this evening.I hope you have had a better weigh in than me. Have a good day!
@Lilonly a half lb for me this week buy still in the right direction. YES! I am fasting today and I am planning on scallops poached in the last bit of ratatouille in the fridge. I would much prefer a big Italian cold cut sandwich(italain sub here what do you call it there?) I am starving today. Did you enjoy the trip?
I am very sure you're suffering from inflammation due to air travel, walking and probably salt in foods. You will settle down.
Well done you@clairemarie You must be at your lowest point now.
Our trip to London was very good. We spent over an hour looking at the poppies - I will try and upload a picture for you. We were very lucky as it was sunny and very warm for October. We then went to two shows in different art galleries and to see an 'installation' at Covent garden. There is so much to do in London you are spoilt for choice but it is BUSY.
I have felt tired today - I was awake for some time as usual during the night and work seemed hard going. I was definitely ready for my dinner and it was so big I had it in 2 sittings - only 355 cals so not bad.
I am not very keen on shell fish ( apart from prawns) but I have taken to scallops recently if they are cooked OK and without roe attached. I imagine they are a good fast day food like prawns.
I have had my almond milk decaf and I'm off to try and get some sleep. Enjoy your dinner. ( and stop fantasising about subs!)
Ta @Lil, thought it was Lisbon this past weekend. I would love a photo of the Poppy Exhibition if you can finagle it. Personally, I would be useless at it as I am fairly useless with the techy stuff. I have definitely broke into a good trot with my weight loss. My body has just wanted to stay between 174 to 181 for the longest time. I can only say that I cannot ever eat breadstuffs for the rest of my life if I am to keep the weight off. Every time I indulge in grain the pounds pile on quickly. Secondly, the job has helped tremendously. Did Moseley call it neet? constant movement? Can't remember.

Good luck with your work week. I will check in on Wed and by the way dinner will be salmon and a romaine salad.
Hi there@clairemarie How are you today. I have just had a very boring morning at work - very slow! I will shortly be going to aqua and then we are going to buy the paint for the ceiling in the lounge which is being redecorated next week. I shall be back in my TV nook in the dining room! It has got colder here this week and we haven't got the heating on in the daytime yet - I may have to remedy that.
I am planning chicken breasts in parma ham on roasted vegetables for dinner tonight - that reminds me I need to get the chicken out of the freezer to defrost. See you later!
@Lil, it is rainy and raw here today. it is tempting to put on the heat but that just softens you up so that you can't tolerate the winter cold. I am just back from work and put on a wool sweater and my Uggs so I will be just fine. I really don't put on the heat until the house temp hits 40 ish. Real winter.

So far I have had a very good fast and met a gentleman who fasts 2 days per week along with his wife with good results. He says its the only way to keep the weight down as he gets older. He has had a hard time convincing other people that this is the way to go. But he says he's in it for life. Needless to say I was encouraged and he will check in with me next week to see how things are going.
I am so very excited, my nieces husband is from London and is involved in IT. He is going to do something to my computer so I will be able to get ITV and BBC just like the rest of you. This means I will no longer be behind on Corrie and able to see Downton ahead of the American showing. I am so psyched!
Salmon and salad for dinner tonight. I cook it slathered in mustard and dill because I detest the taste of salmon even though it's so very good for me.
You must be so excited for the redecorating plans. Good for you.
Good to hear you so upbeat@clairemarie My daughter manages to watch British TV on her computer in Berlin - it takes a young person to work out how to do it I think - no offence! I've been trying to catch up on Corrie - I seem to be about 10 episodes behind most of the time and it will only get worse what with going away again. It looks like it is going to be quite warm while we are in Lisbon - I shall have to iron some of my summer clothes after all. One of my colleagues at work has been quite ill this week with a cold and today I wondered if I might be starting one so I have been hitting the zinc and echinacea - don't want to be ill on holiday. Tomorrow is going to be so busy - I have a full day at work , we need to clear the lounge for the decorator and I need to pack. Your dinner sounds nice - I like salmon tho' and it is one of our regular fast day dinners.
We don't get back from Portugal till late on Tuesday so I will only be doing one fast next week and will be weighing in on Wednesday . I will be thinking about you on Monday!
Hello everyone, I'm new here and wondering if there is anyone on who is from Ontario, Canada? Just curious as it seems most of you I've seen so far are from Australia. Is that the case?
Well @Lil your problems could be much worse...imagine a new décor and a trip to sunny Portugal. Yes I am upbeat because I have finally gotten over bouncing between 174-181. I am now on the downward spiral. Hooray!
How was your chicken tonight? Well your probably fast asleep by now anyway so we will touch bases next week. Ate mais!
Morning@clairemarie Well we are back. Lisbon is a very interesting place with lots of 'different' area. I've eaten lots of nice food and drunk quite a lot  but we walked miles - most of it up and down hill. My weight is marginally down from my last weight in and my % fat is also down so maybe I have put on some muscle! My libra tracker has turned upwards again though
It is actually my birthday today so I am going for an eating window this evening rather that a full calorie counted fast. Back to normal next week! Looks like you are still on the downward path - well done. Hubby is working till about 8pm this evening so he is going to buy a nice ready meal that we can have then - not sure what yet.

Here are a couple of views of the poppies at the tower of London for you@clairemarie It is difficult to show the scale of the thing in a couple of pictures - very impressive and very moving when you consider that every poppy represents a lost life
Morning @clairemarie Fast day has come around again. Mine has not been good :frown: All lines heading upwards at the moment - payback for my holiday I expect. It will be my second fastiversary next week and it looks like I won't even make mu interim target let alone my main one. I now have a fairly clear run till christmas with no more holidays booked so hopefully can make a bit more progress before then.
I have been to aquajog as usual this morning. It is cold but sunny here. I may do a bit of tidying up in the garden then when the light goes I am going to sort out my wardrobe for winter
I have some chicken breast fillets for tonight - I think I am going to make a casserole with veggies and a little barley .
Speak later!
@Lil thank you for the Poppy pics. Quite dramatic an well done. Happy Birthday to you! I hope nubby made you a decadent birthday cake! Glad you both enjoyed Lisbon. I did a bit of research on it myself ,for my son in Ireland seeking a long weekend destination. Well this weeks weigh in brought me to 171. And the only reason I am doing so well is because my dramatic increase in physical activity. And I probably could have lost more but I have been fairly bad with the carbs this past week. Now that the cooler weather is here I tend to cook and bake a lot more. My thanksgiving holiday is at the end of the month and that spells diet disaster for me but it is my family's most favorite holiday. I keep everything as close to my grandmothers as possible. It's a very good thing that I was her 'helper' was I was a little girl because I remember everything .Sorry I missed you today as I had an oddball schedule. I will touch bases with you Wednesday late in the day. And again, Happy happy birthday to you!
@Lil I expected you today. Where are you? Working? Not feeling well? Birthday hangover? I hope all is well. Your last few posts seemed a little down in the dumps weight loss wise anyway. Please don't throw in the towel. You have come so far and you can achieve your goal. Sometimes you have to change things up a bit. Our bodies are remarkable adaptable machines and maybe you just need to trick it a bit with a different fast routine, or exercise, cut flour products, 3 fast days, or very very careful feastdays.
I will check in with you tomorrow.
Well Rob's dark secret is out finally and I just hope Carla makes the right decision.
Have a good night!
